While Fernanda Castillo is still hospitalized, and her best friend sends her this message | The State

The concern continues for the greeting of Fernanda Castillo, who was admitted to the emergency room on Monday, January 11, apparently due to a complication derived from childbirth.

Her husband, Erik hayser, was the one who confirmed the information he gave yesterday ‘First impact’, and in addition, it does not separate from its side, despite the restrictions that hospitals have throughout the world due to the COVID-19 protocol.

Who also reacted to this worrying news, was the actor Mauricio Martinez, who is Fernanda’s best friend for many years. They both call each other ‘brother’ and are there for each other in everything.

Through his Instagram account, with a very moving photo of a production, he expressed his love with these words: “So today and always. I love you. #brotherandsisterforlife ♥ ️ ”.

Mauricio deactivated the messages, possibly to avoid being asked in the comments about the health of the ‘Monarca’ actress, something that has remained completely secretive up to now.

Let’s remember that Fernanda Castillo gave birth to her firstborn Liam on December 19, and it was precisely for the holidays that she presented the baby on social networks, her husband also posing with them.

Jennifer looked absolutely breathtaking basking in the sunshine in a sparkling, maroon two piece that put her fab figure on full display.

The superstar had an air of confidence to her as she strutted out of the water and towards dry land.

JLo was adequately protected from the sunshine with a coordinating Christian Dior bucket hat and pair of sunglasses propped upon her face.

As if that wasn’t glamorous enough, she upped the style factor with a gorgeous pair of gold hoop earrings.

Unfortunately, the star suffered a fashion faux pas as she had forgotten to snip off the tag to her bikini.

The black tag was visible as it dangled off the back of JLo’s bikini top.

The couple planned on tying the knot in 2020, but the nuptials ended up being postponed twice.

‘You know we’ve talked about so many different things cause we had to cancel the wedding last year because of COVID, because of the quarantine, and we actually did it twice, which people don’t know, where we had it in different times – first one canceled and then second one canceled as well – and so I don’t know. We kind of have let it go for a second,’ she recently said on Access Hollywood.

‘I think we just feel like, “Let’s just wait it out.” There’s no rush. We’re good. Everything’s cool. It will happen when the time is right,’ she continued.

Abu Dhabi WTA Women’s Open: Russian qualifier Gasanova sends Pliskova packing

Dubai: Former world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova became the biggest casualty on the third day after being dumped 6-2, 6-4 by Russian qualifier Anastasia Gasanova at the Abu Dhabi WTA Women’s Tennis Open on Saturday.

But second seed Elina Svitolina, fifth seed Garbine Muguruza and No. 6 Elena Rybakina had no issues as they coasted through their matches to complete the Round of 16 line-up that is scheduled to be held on Sunday. Top seed Sofia Kenin and No. 4 Aryna Sabalenka had already booked their spots the previous day.

Svitolina was at her comfortable best in a 6-4, 6-1 win over Vera Zvonareva, while Muguruza was equally dominant in her 6-1, 6-4 win over Aliaksandra Sasnovich after sixth seed and 2020 Dubai Open runner-up Rybakina had coasted through to a 6-4, 6-4 win against China’s Xiyu Wang earlier in the morning.

Gasanova, whose goal is to break into the top-200 this year, took just 72 minutes for her win against the world No. 6 Pliskova.

“This is the best I have ever played. I am an angry person on court, but I am kind when I am off the court. Playing and winning is above everything to me,” Gasanova said.

Tennis came early in Gasanova’s career after her mother, who still doubles up as coach and travelling partner most of the times, took her to her to a court when she was just six. “I fell in love with tennis. I loved everything about it, and there was no looking back for me,” she admitted while giggling all the way.

“I started playing when I was born and my first professional training was when I was six. I was born for tennis. I like hard courts more than clay courts. Back home in Russia, half of the year is winter and I am always practicing indoors. Here the courts are pretty fast, and I like the conditions. To play against a top-10 player is a great opportunity for me, and for sure, I am going to gain a lot from this experience.”

Figuring in her first-ever match against a top 100 player, the 292nd-ranked Gasanova extended her breakthrough week on the WTA in the UAE capital, where the 21-year-old Russian will face Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo for a spot in the quarter-finals on Sunday.

“Yes, I am really surprised about today’s result. When I woke up this morning, I told myself ‘Why can’t I win? What if she is a much better player?’” she admitted full of emotion at such a massive win. “Initially when I landed in Abu Dhabi, I had thought I would lose in qualifiers itself. But here we are.”

Earlier during the week, Gasanova had made her WTA main draw debut with her first Tour-level victory in the first round while overcoming former top-25 player, Mona Barthel.

But her 72-minute win over Pliskova on Saturday came in brand new territory for Gasanova as it was the Russian’s first-ever match against a player ranked inside the top-100, let alone the top-10.

Meanwhile, second seed Svitolina took just 68 minutes to ease past former World No. 2 Zvonareva 6-4, 6-1, to set a meeting with 17th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova, while fifth seed Muguruza ousted Sasnovich of Belarus 6-1, 6-4 to line up ninth seed Maria Sakkari of Greece on Sunday.

“Now that I have won a second match, the intention is to do my best and compete at a high level,” Svitolina said. “And those will be pretty much the same goals for me moving forward in this season.”

Muguruza, a second former World No. 1 has had success at Middle East events after making back-to-back quarter-finals in Dubai and Doha in 2020. The two-time Grand Slam champion from Spain picked up another match win in the region while beating World No. 90 Sasnovich in just 77 minutes.

“I am happy with the way things are going for me. It has been a long time since my last match. This is my first tournament after a really long time and things can be tricky as I get my rhythm. And that exactly is the idea for me to get more matches and the rhythm while being on the court for those extra hours,” she said. “I have done a good preseason, but practice is practice. Honestly, I don’t have great expectations from this tournament other than putting in those hours on court. The next big one for me will be the Australian Open and I need to get that feeling of playing in a big one.”

Saliba sends defiant message to Arteta about how he will “boss” Ligue 1

William Saliba has claimed he is ready to “boss” Ligue 1 following his loan move from Arsenal to Nice.

The 19-year-old French defender failed to make a single appearance for the Gunners this season and has returned to his native country until the end of the campaign.

He made his debut on Wednesday in a 2-0 defeat to Brest, and is likely to be given far more opportunities to shine than he was at the Emirates.

And speaking at his official unveiling, Saliba sent a defiant message to Arteta and co.

“I am a young player, but for me I can bring my young experience,” he said.

William Saliba made his Nice debut in a 2-0 defeat to Brest

“I have played in Ligue 1, even though I am young, I am here to be the boss.

“I have come to run the defence and I intend to give my all and I hope that we will be better defensively in the matches to come.”

Saliba also opened up on his tricky time at Arsenal so far, and seems determined to put it right.

“My first six months were difficult, because I was coming from six months where I wasn’t able to train because I was at home (pandemic), and couldn’t train outside, couldn’t play,” he added.

“I arrived there as they were finishing the league season, so I was training alone. As soon as they came back from holidays, we quickly had the first friendly matches where I lacked rhythm and was a bit insufficient physically.

Saliba will be hoping to impress during his spell in France
Saliba will be hoping to impress during his spell in France

“The coach immediately told me that I was not ready. I would have at least liked to have a chance to rediscover my rhythm. But this is football, it’s like that.”

Saliba should next be in action on Saturday when Nice travel to Metz and may be in line to make his home debut the following Sunday when they host Bordeaux.

Treasury Department Sends 8 Million Stimulus Checks Using Prepaid Cards | The State

Delivering cards makes it easier for more people to receive the second stimulus check.

PHOTO: DEPARTMENT OF TREASURE / Getty Images

Starting this week, the Treasury Department and the IRS will be sending approximately 8 million second stimulus checks via prepaid debit card (EIP).

These EIP cards will be delivered after the millions of payments already made by direct deposit and after the sending of paper stimulus checks that are still being sent.

It is important that those who do not receive direct deposit, be aware of your mail, because there you will receive a paper check or a prepaid debit card.

The Treasury Department’s Office of Fiscal Service sends payments by prepaid debit card in order to speed up the delivery of money and get as many people as possible their second stimulus check as soon as possible.

You should bear in mind that the form of payment of the second stimulus check sent by mail may be different from the first, since some people who received a paper check the first time might receive a prepaid debit card this time, and some people who received a prepaid debit card with the first check could now receive a paper one.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits “it will take time” for Amad Diallo to settle into Manchester United life after the Ivorian winger completed his move to Old Trafford.

The teenager has signed a contract at United until 2025 after completing his switch from Serie A outfit Atalanta, and Solskjaer is delighted to complete the deal.

“As a club, we have followed Amad for a number of years and having watched him myself, I believe he is one of the most exciting young prospects in the game,” he told the United website.

“ Manchester United has such a proud history of developing young players and everything is in place to enable Amad to reach his potential here.
