TOWIE alum Billie Faiers and her husband Greg Shepherd are to begin renovations on their luxury Essex home.

The couple are planning to knock down the property they bought for £1.4million over a year ago and then build their new dream home.

Greg took to Instagram earlier this month to herald the big changes on the way, penning: “So finally next week after a year trying to get planning permission. Works will begin! Let’s do this! #allthegearnoidea #shepthebuilder.”

He had shared an image of himself in a high-visibility jacket and a construction helmet to show how well-prepared he would be.

According to Mail Online, Billie said: “The house is so old, whoever was going to buy it was going to have to renovate.

“There’s only one neighbour to the side of us and he had a lot of reasons as to why he didn’t want us to go ahead, but it was getting a bit silly in the end.”

The former TOWIE star also notes that the pressure has only just begun as they work on the renovations despite the “long journey” to get htere.

The publication reports that the planning application submitted to Brentwood Council notes there will be five bedrooms, with the master boasting a large dressing room and en-suite bathroom.

Meanwhile, Billie and Greg’s children Nelly, six, and Arthur, three, will have their own play room, but so will Greg himself as the garage becomes a gym and games area.

The house will also have a two-story side extension, while there will also be single extensions to both the front and the rear of the property.

Elsewhere, the couple will re-landscape the entire outside grounds of the property too.

Meanwhile, Billie herself is currently competing with professional skater Mark Hanretty on the 2021 series of Dancing on Ice.

About 40% of paramedics in the Capitale-Nationale will finally be vaccinated after seeing their appointments canceled earlier this week.

Regional Public Health made the decision after a “complete overhaul” of the admission criteria for healthcare workers.

Vaccination of paramedics resumed Thursday at the end of the day and will continue over the next few days in Quebec.

“It’s a half-victory because there are still 60% of our workers who will still not be vaccinated, but we are happy with the reassessment that was made by the CIUSSS”, confides Frédéric Maheux, president of the union. .

250 doses

The CIUSSS explains that 250 paramedics will be able to receive a first dose. The selection was made on specific criteria. “Prioritization was done according to age and work area,” explains Annie Ouellet, spokesperson for the CIUSSS.

The establishment is also continuing to vaccinate other health workers in the “second priority group”. The 4800 doses received this week will continue to flow over the next few days.

YouTube is finally enabling HDR support on Microsoft’s Xbox consoles. The HDR support works across existing Xbox One S / X devices and new consoles like the Xbox Series X and Series S. As long as you have a TV or monitor capable of displaying HDR videos, the YouTube app will now automatically switch to output HDR content.

The YouTube app on Xbox has never supported HDR previously, despite HDR being available on the PlayStation 4 since 2019. Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X launched in November without YouTube HDR support, and it’s still not available on the PS5 yet — a step back from what was available on PS4.

Engadget notes you can confirm that HDR is outputting correctly from the YouTube app on Xbox by enabling the “stats for nerds” panel (see above). A lot of TVs will also display a HDR prompt or switch to a HDR mode when content is played.

Now we just need more HDR content to become available on YouTube. Some of the best HDR content on YouTube is still test videos that were uploaded years ago. We’re starting to see more trailers and videos come with HDR options, but the vast majority of creators don’t upload content with HDR.

Gigi Hadid has revealed the name of her baby girl with Zayn Malik! The model gave birth to her first child on Sept. 23, 2020.

The Maybelline model finally revealed the name by changing her Instagram bio on Thursday, Jan. 21. “Khai’s mom,” the first line of her bio now reads, along with mentioning she’s signed to IMG Worldwide and a plug for her photography account Gisposable. The confirmation comes amidst speculation around Zayn’s new Arabic tattoo that fans believe translates to the name “Khai.”

The announcement comes four months after the proud parents first revealed they had welcomed their daughter into the world. The former One Direction hitmaker was the first to break the news on September 23, sharing a black and white image of the newborn clutching onto her father’s finger. “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful…to try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x,” he gushed.

Gigi also shared the happy news on her Instagram, posting a similar pic which showed Zayn’s hand beside their daughter’s. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” the supermodel wrote. Friends and fans were quick to jump into the comments with congratulatory messages. Hailey Baldwin wrote, “Welcome babygirl! So happy for you guys,” while fellow model Olivia Culpo commented, “Ahhhh!!!! HUGE congrats!!!!! I can’t wait to meet this angel.” Even the official Instagram account commented on her announcement post — one thing is for certain, this baby will be very loved.

Gigi was able to hide her growing baby bump for months while she was quarantined with her family at their estate in rural Pennsylvania. At times, she felt comfortable showing off her changing body with fans on social media, after news of the pregnancy broke in April. “Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well-wishes and support,” Gigi revealed on the April 30 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The video was shot from afar, though, so you couldn’t see Hartford just yet. “Midnight Milk,” Beau had written over the clip. As you can see, the parents are smoothly adjusting to their new roles as parents: Beau revealed on his Instagram Story that they had also purchased a “one step baby food maker” from Baby Brezza.

Stassi announced her pregnancy through her rep on June 13, just three days after it was announced that she, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were fired from Vanderpump Rules after various controversies surfaced. Stassi went on to tie the knot with Beau in a secret backyard ceremony in Sept. 2020, despite originally planning a grand wedding in Italy that couldn’t happen at the time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Alarm.com has announced a new device for anyone worried about visitors catching COVID-19 from, of all things, their doorbell. Rather than using a button, the Touchless Video Doorbell is designed to chime when its camera detects visitors standing on your doormat. Alarm.com claims this is the “first commercially available video doorbell that rings without requiring any contact,” and that its aim is to “reduce public health risks and make home visits and deliveries safer for all.”

In what seems to be an admission that this is quite a confusing way to ring a doorbell, there are instructions on how to ring the device printed on its front. Alarm.com is also selling a doormat accessory for the doorbell, which instructs visitors on where to stand so the doorbell can see them properly. Given how perplexed we found most delivery drivers were by Yale’s Smart Delivery Box, there’s a chance this touchless doorbell could create similar confusion.

You can see and speak with visitors through the doorbell, and it also integrates with the rest of a home’s Alarm.com smart home security system, so it can trigger other devices like lights when a person is detected. Its camera is 1080p HDR, and it’s also equipped with infrared night vision.

It’s admirable that the main people to benefit from a touchless doorbell would be the delivery drivers who’ve become vital lifelines for people avoiding leaving their homes. But it’s not clear how much help a touchless doorbell could actually be.

The latest advice from the US’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is that surface transmission (like touching a doorbell contaminated with the virus and then touching your face) is “not thought to be a common way that COVID-19 spreads.” Instead, COVID-19 is thought to transmit from person to person most often when they’re in close contact with one another, which is something you don’t need a touchless smart doorbell to avoid.

Alarm.com’s Touchless Video Doorbell is available now via the company’s network of installation partners. When asked, the company wouldn’t comment on exactly how much the system costs, but said the doorbell itself is priced at “under $200.”
