Pamela Anderson’s Romantic History: Every Man She’s Loved & Married, From Tommy Lee To Dan Hayhurst

Pamela Anderson just married Dan Hayhurst, but it’s not her first time down the aisle! Take a look back at all of her past loves, including Tommy Lee, here.

Pamela Anderson, 53, is once again a married woman! The Baywatch star tied the knot with her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst on Vancouver Island, Canada in a surprise ceremony. Pamela and the builder stunned in their black-and-white photos as they posed amongst the gorgeous forest scenery.

The Canadian star’s love life has been a topic of public interest for years, dating back to her first marriage to rockstar Tommy Lee, 58, then subsequent nuptials to Kid Rock, 50, and Rick Salomon, 53. Take a look back at all of Pamela’s ex husbands and past loves right here!

Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson are the definition of whirlwind romance! After meeting on New Years’ Eve 1995, the then-Playboy Playmate and Motley Crue member went on their first date two months later. After just four days, they quickly tied the knot on February 19, 1995 in a romantic Cancun, Mexico ceremony! Before walking down the aisle with Pam, Tommy was actually engaged to model Bobbie Brown.

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee married after just four days back in 1995.

For her part, Pamela had already shot a slew of successful Playboy covers, with her first dating back to 1989 and was starring on Baywatch. The couple went on to welcome two sons: Brandon Thomas Lee, now 24, in 1996 and Dylan Jagger Lee, now 23, in 1997. Tommy and Pam ended up in a legal battle after a private sex tape was stolen by their electrician Rand Gauthier. After trying to stop circulation, the video eventually was sold under the title Pam & Tommy Lee: Stolen Honeymoon.

Unfortunately, after a series of violent altercations between the couple, Pam filed for divorce in 1998. That same year, Tommy was charged for felony spousal battery, requiring him to spend six months in Los Angeles County Jail, do 200 hours of community service, and pay $6,200 to a battered women’s shelter.

Marcus Schenkenberg

Pamela’s first major public relationship after Tommy was with model Marcus Schenkenberg, 52. They met in Europe after Marcus saved a bird from going down a toilet (Pamela is a known animal lover and activist). The pair were engaged from 2000 – 2001, but stayed out of the public eye minus his appearance on her show V.I.P. Marcus went on to reunite in 2018 at a party in Germany. In photos, Marcus could be seen embracing his ex and kissing her on the cheek.

Kid Rock

Three years later, the bombshell blonde found herself in another high profile relationship with a rockstar. Pam and Kid Rock, 50, began dating in 2001 and got engaged by 2002. After a brief split, they married four years later in St. Tropez, France. Pamela wore her iconic white bikini and sailor hat for the unforgettable 2006  ceremony, where Kid (née Robert James Ritchie) went shirtless. Pamela sadly revealed she had a miscarriage later that year, and filed for divorce by Nov. 2006.

Later, Kid confessed he had no regrets about the relationship. “I fell in love. It was a great thing to be in love. I was a complete idiot in love,” he said in a 2007 interview with The Today Show. “I always say getting married was a ball. I had a blast getting married. Loved it so much I got married six or seven times or whatever it was. Being married sucked. Maybe for some people it is not meant to be,” he added.

Rick Salomon

Pro poker player Rick Salomon and Pamela have an on-again, off-again history that includes multiple marriages. After being friends for years, their relationship took a romantic turn when they married for the first time in Oct. 2007 at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada. After just two months, the marriage was annulled — but they reunited years later in 2013. That marriage only lasted 6 months, as they once again split in July 2014. Of note, Rick has appeared in a sex tape of his own with Paris Hilton, 39.

Jon Peters

After splitting from boyfriend Adil Rami, Pamela shocked fans again by marrying her longtime friend Jon Peters, 75, in Jan. 2020. “There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much,” Jon told THR when explaining the relationship and new nuptials. “There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated,” added.

The pair also had a history, dating back in the ’80s when Pamela first moved to Los Angeles. After just 12 days, the couple went their separate ways. “I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union,” Pamela said of the split. “We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another. Life is a journey and love is a process.” For Jon’s part, he claimed he “dropped everything for Pam” and paid “almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it.” A legal marriage certificate was never filed.

Bret Michaels

Pamela certainly has a type when it comes to rockstars! She also dated Poison’s Bret Michaels, 57, from 1993 – 1994. Although the relationship was short lived, Pamela was in a second sex tape with Bret, which later circulated online. The Barb Wire star later said monogamy was a reason for the split. “He liked the buffet,” she confessed to Howard Stern in 2004, referencing Bret’s love of other women. “I wanted the a la carte. I wanted one man.”

Pamela Anderson and Bret Michaels dated briefly in the early ’90s. (MEGA)

For his part, Bret described their relationship as “very fun” and “very sexual,” but confessed her mom Carol Anderson wasn’t a fan of his. “Pamela goes, ‘My mom really doesn’t like you very much.’ I’m thinking, ‘What the f—?’ The mom really didn’t like the rocker thing or the way I looked — Pamela had never dated a rocker before. I think that played a big part in the relationship,” he said to Blender magazine in 2009.

Adil Rami

Pamela kept a fairly low profile during her relationship to French soccer star Adil Rami, 35. The blonde left her usual Malibu home to live with Adil in Marseille from 2017 – 2019. After their split, she blasted him on Instagram for living a “double life,” confessing that, “The last (more than) two years of my life have been a big lie.” She went on to suggest he was cheating as he had controlled “2 women’s hearts.”

Dan Hayhurst

Love at last! Pamela quietly married Dan Hayhurst, a builder from her hometown, on Vancouver Island in Jan. 2021. “I’m exactly where I need to be, in the arms of a man who truly loves me,” she gushed to Daily Mail, who also published her stunning wedding photos. “This one year together has felt like seven — like dog years,” she added. She revealed that she met Dan at the beginning of the pandemic when she returned to her native Canada.

Pamela stunned for her wedding, which was done outdoors on a spacious Ladysmith property she purchased from her grandparents. A local pastor was on hand for their traditional vows, along with a blessing ceremony by the Qiyupelenexw from Snuneymuxw First Nations. She wore a vintage inspired wedding dress with a dotted pattern veil, tulle skirt and blue ribbon corset by Joanna Delaney Bridal.

Dubai: People may need to get COVID-19 vaccine every year, said Dr Farida Al Hosani, official spokesperson for the UAE Health Sector.

Al Hosani made the remarks on Monday during a virtual panel discussion organised by the Maitha Bint Ahmed Al Nahyan Foundation for Community and Cultural Initiatives (MBAF), in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC).

New COVID-19 variants have emerged recently, Al Hosani said, adding that the more mutant the virus, the more is the possible need to vaccinate annually against it.

She gave an example of the mutant flu vaccine which is given to communities every year.

Al Hosani revealed that some vaccines are given to people as young as 16 years and referred to ongoing clinical studies on three vaccines that could be administered to children in the future.

She revealed that between 40-50 per cent of the people infected with COVID-19 do not feel any symptoms.

“Based on this, we increased focussing on old people. The earlier the detection of virus among old people and people with pre-existing conditions, the more chance the virus can be contained.”

Sheikha Maitha bint Ahmed bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Board Chairperson of the MBAF, praised the wise leadership’s proactive vision for containing the virus and for successfully providing the safe and effective vaccines.

Michael B. Jordan: Why He Won’t Be Posting ‘Every Moment’ Of Romance With Lori Harvey After Going Public

‘Black Panther’ star Michael B. Jordan recently went Instagram official with Lori Harvey, but fans shouldn’t expect to see every moment of their romance documented online. Here’s why.

Michael B. Jordan, 33, and Lori Harvey, 24, confirmed that they’re dating with matching Instagram posts on Jan. 10 and since then they’ve been enjoying plenty of time together — including a vacay in St. Barts where they celebrated Lori’s 24th birthday. Now, a source close to 2020’s Sexiest Man Alive tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY why it’s a “big deal” that he’s being so open about his new relationship.

Michael is definitely crushing hard on Lori and is loving all the time and special moments they’ve been sharing together,” the source says, “but at the same time, he’s always been private about his personal life and so it was a big deal for him to publicly share how he felt about Lori on social media.”

Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey enjoy a day out during their trip to St. Barts. [MEGA]

The source also insists that the actor won’t share a ton of pictures of his new relationship. “Even though Michael seems to have opened up quite a bit by going public with their romance and allowing fans to get a glimpse inside their personal lives, that doesn’t mean he wants to share every moment between them or that he’s going to be posting about their relationship all the time now.”

“He’s not a model or an influencer like Lori,” explained the source, “he doesn’t feel the need to share everything on social media. That’s just not who he is, but at the same time he completely supports Lori and don’t be surprised to see him pop up with flirty comments whenever she posts.”

A second source close to the Creed 3 star tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that the relationship is “the real thing” so he wants to protect it.  “Everything with Michael and Lori is natural. They aren’t putting things on social together just to do it. If it is a cute moment, they will share it. They are treating their relationship like a relationship and not a business. He will be selective moving forward but is also OK if Lori puts things up because it is all being done with genuine intents. Their relationship is the real thing, and that is what is important to them at the end of the day.”

But, as HollywoodLife previously reported it was Michael who shared the first Instagram pics — WHICH YOU CAN SEE HERE — because he wanted to go public with the relationship. “Lori decided to post Michael because it was something he wanted, so she followed his lead. She’s very happy that he wanted to let the world know she’s his,” said the source.

“She’d never post first, but she is happy that he wanted to make it Instagram official,” the insider continued. “He’s proud to be dating her, and she feels the same way about him. It’s very balanced. So far, this does seem like the best relationship she’s ever had because he’s just such a good guy. Her family’s so happy. They really support this relationship, [and]  so far they are very impressed with him.”

In fact Lori’s stepdad Steve Harvey, 64, was recently asked what he thought on The Steve Harvey Morning Show and he joked, “I still got my eye on him.”

“I mean I like I him, but like I say to all of them, ‘I might like you. I might approve of you, but I’ve got a thumb-sized section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for you’,” he added. “Just in case I need it.”

Steve admitted that he thinks Michael’s “a nice guy” before adding, “But I got this little section where all I gotta do is a click a switch and I’d hate your ass.”

6 things that happen to your body if you eat dark chocolate every day | The State

Cocoa is rich in flavonoids, which have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Photo:
Karolina Grabowska / Pexels

Chocolate is a comforting delicacy that, if eaten in moderation, can be beneficial to your health. The best chocolate is the one that contains the most cocoa, dark chocolate or dark chocolate. Consuming chocolate can have short and long-term effects on various parts of the body, from your brain, your heart and even your skin.

Cocoa is a food that in addition to containing stimulants (caffeine and theobromine), it is rich in plant chemicals called flavonoids that favor you in various ways.

6 benefits of enjoying dark chocolate every day:

1. It can make you feel happier

After eating chocolate, levels of brain chemicals increase serotonin and dopamine, so the mood is altered as the cocoa is absorbed into the bloodstream.

Chocolate has phenylethylamine, call “Love drug”, is a compound that acts as a neurotransmitter and a natural drug from the group of amphetamines generated by the brain, It produces sensations of pleasure and happiness.

Cocoa also contains caffeine and theobromine, which act like stimulants. Theobromine is a alkaloid that stimulates the nervous systemIt is milder than caffeine, but longer acting. Therefore, when consuming cocoa, we can experience a sensation of enthusiasm, animation or happiness, notes the Cacao Observatory.

2. Decreases anxiety and stress

Dark chocolate helps you feel better and less stressed not only because of its pleasant taste. Scientists point out that the effects improve mood and cognition of chocolate originate from the richness of flavonoids in combination with methylxanthines (such as caffeine and theobromine) containing cocoa.

Dietitian Tracy Lockwood Beckerman explains in Well + Good that flavonoids can reduce stress by lowering cortisol levels, the “stress hormone.”

3. Fight rust

Cocoa is rich in flavonoids, which have a antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. Cleveland Clinic explains that if your body doesn’t have enough antioxidants to combat the amount of oxidation that occurs, free radicals can harm you.

For example, increased oxidation can cause low-density lipoproteins (LDL), also known as “bad” cholesterol, to formn plaque on the walls of the arteries.

4. Improve your blood flow

One of the recognized benefits of flavonoids in cocoa is that they favor the production of nitric oxide, therefore help relax blood vessels and improve blood flow, which lowers blood pressure, according to the Harvard Nutrition Source.

5. You favor your memory

Flavanols promote a faster increase in the levels of oxygenation of the blood in the brain, which can improve brain response.

Researchers at the University of Birmingham who analyzed the benefits of cocoa for mental alertness, note that “if you face more challenges, your brain needs better blood oxygen levels to handle that challenge.”

Previous research indicates that flavonoids can reduce the processes neurodegenerative, the neuroinflammation and stimulate neurogenesis in the hippocampus (the process of forming new neurons).

6. Increases insulin sensitivity

The flavonoids in cocoa can also increase insulin sensitivity in short-term studies; In the long term, this could reduce the risk of diabetes.

Before taking any chocolate bar, it is important to know that not all forms of chocolate contain high levels of flavonoids, this depends on the cocoa content and the way in which it was processed.

Not just any chocolate is beneficial

The more the chocolate is processed, the more flavonoids are lost. Most commercial chocolates are highly processed. Choose 70% dark chocolate (content of cocoa solids) or higher. A quality dark chocolate bar will not contain a lot of sugar.

Chocolate excesses are not good, it also contains a little cocoa fat and a little sugar, and add calories. Enjoy moderate portions 1-2 small squares.

Covid-19: UK wants to have every adult vaccinated by autumn

The British government aims to have vaccinated all adults in the United Kingdom by the fall, Health Minister Matt Hancock said on Sunday, while the British public health service (NHS) is now found in “a dangerous situation”.

“Of course we start with the most vulnerable,” but “every adult will be offered a vaccine by the fall,” the minister pledged on the BBC.

The country in Europe most bereaved by the pandemic with 80,868 dead (+1,035 in 24 hours), the United Kingdom is currently facing an outbreak of contamination by the coronavirus attributed to a more contagious variant.

More than three million people have been declared positive there since the start of the pandemic (+59 937 Saturday) and 30,000 patients are hospitalized for the Covid-19 disease.

“The NHS is currently facing the most dangerous situation we can remember,” Chris Whitty, chief medical officer for England, warned in the Sunday Times.

“If the virus continues on this trajectory, hospitals will be in real difficulty, and that very soon”, he added, warning against “the staff / patient ratio – already very high”, which will soon become “unacceptable” .

To get out of this situation, the British government has embarked on a “race against time” to vaccinate by mid-February the over 70s, caregivers and vulnerable people, or around 15 million people belonging to to a category of the population where 88% of deaths due to Covid-19 occur.

And “we are on the right track” to achieve it, estimated the Minister of Health on Sky news, affirming that the United Kingdom now vaccinates “200,000 people per day”, thanks to the vaccines of BioNTech-Pfizer and of AstraZeneca / Oxford.

According to Matt Hancock, the vaccination campaign that began in early December has so far allowed 1.5 million people, including “about a third of those over 80,” to receive their first injection.

But the British government, considered too slow to react, is singled out by some experts. “The UK has no clear strategy beyond reactive containment when hospitals are under pressure,” said Devi Sridhar, public health expert at the University of Edinburgh, to Times Radio.

As the country entered its third lockdown, the professor considers it “unrealistic” to hope that citizens continue to abide by these rules, after “almost a year” of restrictive measures, calling on the government to present a “clear plan to get out. of these confinements ”.

Twitch will change the face of PogChamp every 24 hours

Twitch removed its popular PogChamp emote a couple of days ago after the person on which it was based — Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez — posted some tweets encouraging more mob violence after the riot at the Capitol. The spirit of PogChamp, however, will live on: today, Twitch announced that it would cycle through different versions of the emote every 24 hours, starting today.

The reason PogChamp was popular was because it was the site’s global hype emote: when anything cool happened on Twitch, you could be sure to see people pogging in the chat. As the writer (and, full disclosure, my friend) Ryan Broderick put it in his excellent newsletter Garbage Day, Twitch removing the PogChamp emote was probably in service of taking the site truly mainstream.

“The other big part of this is that Twitch’s long-term goal as a company seems to be fully divorcing themselves from the reputation as an ESPN for gamers,” Broderick writes. “So the PogChamp debacle is basically perfect for Twitch — a small change that signals they’re no longer aligned with Gutierrez and everything within the specific toxic strain of the pro-gaming community he represents.”

Twitch’s push toward truly mainstream relevance didn’t start in 2020, and a year spent mostly inside helped move the site there. Perhaps the biggest win — and the strongest signal — that Twitch was beginning to achieve those goals was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) stream with some of Twitch’s biggest stars, which was one of the largest individual streams the site has ever seen. The idea that there was a difference between Twitch influence and mainstream influence evaporated at the very moment AOC’s stream went dark. (Since then, internet-savvy congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has also streamed Among Us with a cast of all-star broadcasters.)

I’ve reached out to Twitch for comment and will update this story when I hear back.

PogChamp is dead. Long live PogChamp.
