Jordyn Woods Gushes Over ‘Sweetest’ BF Karl-Anthony Towns After He Sends Her ‘Love’ Hoodie From Quarantine

Karl-Anthony Towns is battling COVID-19, but that didn’t stop the Minnesota Timberwolves player from surprising Jordyn Woods with thoughtful gifts.

Jordyn Woods really does have “the sweetest boyfriend,” which she gushed on her Jan. 21st Instagram Story. That’s because the 23-year-old model and actress’s boyfriend, Karl-Anthony Towns, surprised her with two luxury presents: a pair of Chrome Hearts jeans marked with the brand’s iconic cross logo, and a romantic “Love Is Us” Vetements hoodie. Even more impressive is the fact that Karl organized this thoughtful gesture while battling COVID-19.

“I have the sweetest boyfriend,” Jordyn wrote over her surprises, adding, “Sending me things even when he’s sick.” Jordyn’s teenage sister, Jodie Woods, was just as impressed with Karl’s presents. She posted them on her own Instagram Story and wrote, “karl is the sweetest boyfriend [emojis] really just sent her some chrome jeans and this vetements hoodie that made him think of her, BRO MY HEARTTTTT.”

Karl revealed his COVID-19 diagnosis on Jan. 15, on the very same day his team’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies was postponed. “Prior to tonight’s game, I received yet another awful call that I tested positive for COVID. I will immediately isolate and follow every protocol. I pray every day that this nightmare of a virus will subside and I beg everyone to continue to take it seriously by taking all of the necessary precautions. We cannot stop the spread of this virus alone, it must be a group effort by all of us.”

Karl added that it “breaks [his] heart” that his “family, and particularly [his] father and sister continue to suffer from the anxiety that comes along with this diagnosis as we know all too well what the end result could be.” On a heartbreaking note, Karl vowed to his niece and nephew Jolani and Max that he won’t “end up in a box next to grandma,” a reference to the heartbreaking fact that Karl lost his mother Jacqueline Cruz-Towns to COVID-19 in April of 2020. Jordyn had helped Karl through this tragic time as a supportive friend before they started dating in the fall of 2020.

Once again, Jordyn is showing her support to Karl, too. Jordyn urged fans to “please send some prayers up” after her boyfriend revealed his diagnosis last Friday. As you can see, Jordyn and Karl are a tight unit — but they’re not rushing anything. “Of course, one day in the future I would like to have a time to settle down and have a family of my own. But right now I don’t want things to go way too fast,” Jordyn EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife in Oct. 2020.

Rachel Uchitel Reveals Moment Tiger Woods’ Ex-Wife Confronted Her Over Their Affair: ‘I Knew It Was You’

In the final part of HBO’s ‘Tiger,’ the golfer’s former mistress remembers what his wife Elin Nordegren told her on the phone after discovering their affair.

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, we may receive an affiliate commission.

Rachel Uchitel has finally revealed what happened on the night that shocked the sporting world in the second and final part of HBO’s Tiger docuseries. In the Jan. 17 episode, Tiger Woods’ 45-year-old former mistress described what happened on Thanksgiving night 2009 when the golfer’s then wife, Elin Nordegren, discovered that the tabloid rumor about their affair was true.

Rachel admitted that, just days before, she and her lover “did everything to try and stop” a National Enquirer story exposing their secret romance. One of the tabloid’s reporters had spotted her going to visit Tiger’s room in a Melbourne hotel during the Australian Masters and – despite the couple’s best efforts – the magazine insisted on publishing the article.

At the time the secretly philandering golfer had a golden boy image. The father-of-two conspired with his mistress to convince Elin that there was no truth to the story. He even put the two women on the phone with each other, according to the documentary.

“We had an extensive, 30-minute conversation, Elin and I, convincing her that I was not having a sexual relationship with Tiger,” Rachel said. “We talked about how I knew Tiger, how I knew his friends, how and why I was in Australia.”

Elin appeared to believe Rachel and Tiger and, two days later, Rachel said she and the golfer wished each other a Happy Thanksgiving, relieved that they had gotten away with it.

“Between this stupid story and the phone call with Elin I remember thinking, oh my God, we’re going to slide right over this,” she said. “Two days later it was Thanksgiving. Tiger and I texted throughout the day, saying that we had a lot to be grateful for. We had gotten away unscathed in what could have been a complete nightmare.”

In fact, that night Rachel said Tiger sent her a text message saying, “You were the only one I ever loved.” “I remember just feeling that things had never been better between us and then he told me that he was taking an Ambien and going to sleep,” she said.

But then the night took a dramatic turn. “When I got another text from him, I was kind of surprised,” she said. “What came through was something like, ‘When am I gonna see you again?’ And then the phone rang. I answered saying something like, ‘Hey babe, I thought you went to sleep.’ And, instead of Tiger’s voice, it was Elin. And she said, ‘I knew it was you.’”

That night would become infamous after Tiger crashed his car into a fire hydrant near his Florida home and reports swirled that a marital bust-up had been the cause, with Elin using a golf club to smash his car window.

Tiger’s life spiraled out of control. He went into rehab for sex addiction, divorced Elin and became the butt of talk show comedians after numerous women came out of the woodwork, alleging they were his mistress too.

Rachel, who maintained her silence for more than a decade until this HBO documentary, was targeted by the paparazzi. “This story was so huge, this was the end of my life as I knew it,” she said. The two-part documentary, Tiger, is available on HBO and on the streaming service, HBO Max.

Jordyn Woods Begs For Prayers For Her BF Karl-Anthony Towns After He’s Diagnosed With Covid

Model Jordyn Woods is praying for a ‘speedy recovery’ for her athlete boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns, after he was diagnosed with coronavirus.

Jordyn Woods, 23, is asking fans to pray for her boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns, 25, after he tested positive for COVID-19. She took to her Instagram Story on January 16 to thank fans for the outpouring of support, after her beau revealed his diagnosis. “I just wanted to thank you for all of your support, prayers and concern. My family and I all got tested for COVID and the results came back negative so we are all good but continue to pray for Karl for a speedy recovery,” the model wrote.

Her NBA star boyfriend, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, has lost 7 family members to the deadly coronavirus, including his mother Jacqueline Towns. Jordyn also penned a message directly to Karl-Anthony, writing, “Be strong @karltowns. You’re a true fighter this is not fair or right that you were put in this position when you were just trying to do your job. You got this,” she wrote, adding the praying hands and heart emojis.

Jordyn added, “Praying for you babe. I know you’re going to pull through. God’s got you and so does your most powerful guardian Angel up there…you’re one of the strongest people I know.” The athlete first revealed his diagnosis after a routine NBA test. “Prior to tonight’s game, I received yet another awful call that I tested positive for COVID. I will immediately isolate and follow every protocol,” he said in a statement. “I pray every day that this nightmare virus will subside and I beg everyone to continue to take it seriously by taking all of the necessary precautions. We cannot stop the spread of this virus alone.”

He and Jordyn first confirmed their romance in September after her lavish birthday trip to Mexico. Although the couple have had plenty of positive experiences over the past year, jetting off on tropical vacations together, it has also been a trying time for Karl. He recently opened up about the tragic loss of his mother in a heartrending YouTube video titled “The Toughest Year Of My Life”. “It hurts so bad. Every day,” he said, revealing he had to make the tough decision to “pull the plug” on his 59-year-old mother.

Jordyn Woods’ NBA star boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns has tested positive for COVID-19

Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns announced that he tested positive for coronavirus over Instagram on Friday.

The NBA player, 25, was particularly crestfallen about his diagnosis as his mother, 59-year-old Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, passed away from complications of COVID-19 on April 13.

‘Prior to tonight’s game, I received yet another awful call that I tested positive for COVID,’ Towns wrote.

‘I will immediately isolate and follow every protocol. I pray every day that this nightmare of a virus will subside and I beg everyone to continue to take it seriously by taking all the necessary precautions.’

He continued: ‘It breaks my heart that my family, and particularly my father and sister continue to suffer from the anxiety that comes along with this diagnosis as we know all too well what the end result could be.’

Addressing his niece and nephew directly, the athlete promised he would ‘not end up in a box next to grandma’ and will ‘beat this.’

‘Praying for you baby. You got this. God’s got you,’ commented Towns’ girlfriend Jordyn Woods, while continuing to help her man grieve seven of his relatives’ deaths, due to COVID-19, since March.

His announcement came shortly after the NBA announced Friday’s game between the Timberwolves and the visiting Memphis Grizzlies was postponed due to the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Last month, during an interview with ESPN about the upcoming NBA season, Towns spoke of seeing a ‘a lot of coffins in the last seven months.’

‘I’ve been through a lot, obviously starting out with my mom,’ Towns said. ‘Last night I got a call that I lost my uncle. I feel like I’ve been hardened a little bit by life and humbled.’

He did not say which other members of his family had passed away.

The NBA star said that he is still trying to process the death of his mother as he looks to protect the rest of his family from the ongoing pandemic.

His father, Karl Sr., also tested positive for coronavirus earlier in the year but has recovered.

‘I have a lot of people who have – in my family and my mom’s family – gotten COVID. I’m the one looking for answers still, trying to find how to keep them healthy.

‘It’s just a lot of responsibility on me to keep my family well-informed and to make all the moves necessary to keep them alive,’ he added.

Towns’ mom Jacqueline Cruz-Towns died on April 13 at the age of 58 after being placed on a ventilator for 19 days.

Weeks prior, he shared an emotional post to Instagram on March 25 in which he wrote that she was on a ventilator and in a medically-induced coma as a result of COVID-19.

‘We need more equipment and we need to help those medical personnel on the front lines,’ he wrote with the video.

He continued: ‘Thank you to the medical staff who are helping my mom. You are all the true heroes! Praying for all of us at this difficult time.’

Afterward, Towns donated $100,000 to the Mayo Clinic to help with testing patients for COVID-19.

Towns later confirmed her death with a touching video showing her by his side at games, press conference and TV appearances.

His mother had been a constant presence through all the large moments of his career, and was often highlighted by fans for her enthusiasm in supporting her son from the crowds.

The basketball star said that he felt compelled to share his mother’s story, detailing how he cared for her on social media, so others would better understand the impact of the pandemic.

At the time, Thompson was in a relationship with KUWTK star and baby mama Khloé Kardashian, who has since reconciled with. The pair are focused on raising their daughter True, two.

The situation led to Woods having a falling out with the famous family, including the end of her longtime friendship with Kylie Jenner, 23.

Tiger Woods’ Ex-Wife Elin Nordegren ‘Turned Him Down’ When He First Asked Her Out

Tiger Woods’ fame almost cost him his relationship with his future wife, according to HBO’s new ‘Tiger’ docuseries about the golf legend’s life.

Tiger Woods “didn’t make a great impression” on his future wife Elin Nordegren, one of her friends claimed in the first part of HBO’s new docuseries about the champion golfer. In fact, the star’s fame was such a turnoff for the Swede that she initially “turned him down” when he first asked out.

Writer Sandra Sobieraj Westfall appeared in the first episode of the two-part Tiger documentary and drew on her friendship with the golfer’s now ex-wife to explain why the shy former nanny finally agreed to date the superstar.

“Elin told me that he didn’t make a great impression on her at first,” Westfall said of the 41-year-old blonde in the documentary, which premiered on Jan. 10. “She had her opinions about celebrities and they were not high. And she’s very shy so the idea of joining that world was not appealing to her. And when he asked her out, I think she turned him down at first.”

However, Elin – who worked for one of Tiger’s pro-golfing colleagues when they met in the Noughties – finally agreed to date the California native. “[Then] she gradually was convinced that she should give him a chance and so they did go out,” Westfall said.

Eventually she learned to cope with the attention, Elin’s friend said in the doc. “She said the hardest part about that was adjusting to the spotlight that followed him. But Tiger was very sweetly protective of Elin. She said it felt special,” Westfall said. “Ironically the spotlight that first repelled her suddenly bonded them; sort of us against the world. It was just the two of them and she believed it was everything.” Elin and Tiger eventually married in 2004 on the Caribbean island of Barbados.

The first part of HBO’s docuseries charts the 45-year-old legend’s life from the very early days when he wowed local media with his golfing skills as a toddler barely out of diapers, to his marriage to Elin and the death of his father, Earl Woods. It was Earl, who died in 2006 at the age of 74, who recognized his son’s talent and steered the boy from a child prodigy to a golfing megastar.

Friends who knew the Woods family in the early days recounted in the documentary the full extent of Tiger’s parents’ devotion to his career. Despite old news footage suggesting that he was obsessed with the game as a kid, Tiger’s kindergarten teacher Maureen Decker said the shy little boy actually wanted to enjoy other activities.

“One day Tiger opened up and he asked me to ask his dad if he could play some other sports besides just golfing and I told him that I would…” Ms. Decker said of the future pro who, to date, has 82 PGA Tour victories under his belt. “I did say that I thought it would be nice if Tiger could play other sports but Mr. Woods said he had to concentrate on his golf.”

This determination that Tiger remain uber focused on his golfing career continued well into his college years, according to Dina Parr, his first girlfriend. She started dating him when they were both in high school, the blonde said in the documentary, which featured old photos of the former couple cuddling and partying together. But Dina admitted she didn’t think Tiger’s mom (Kultida Woods) and dad approved of the romance.

“Earl and Tida, they had this image of who he was supposed to be and I think that they were worried about me because I certainly didn’t fit into that,” she said. “I felt that their plans were creating this robot.”

Dina claimed that Tiger abruptly broke up with her, cutting off their relationship out of the blue, by sending her a terse letter, saying that he felt “used and manipulated” by her and that he “never” wanted to “talk to or hear from” her again. “It was awful. We’d been in this three-year relationship…” his ex said, after clutching and reading the contents of the handwritten letter aloud on screen. “I replay that day in my head over and over again.”

By the time Tiger was married to Elin, it wasn’t his all-consuming devotion to golf that broke them up, but his multiple affairs. They divorced in 2010 after six years of marriage and two children – Sam and Charlie (now 13 and 11 respectively) – together.

That half of Tiger’s life (when his squeaky clean image went up in flames) is saved for the second and final part of HBO’s documentary. In the meantime, the golfer’s ex-mistress Rachel Uchitel hinted at what is to come by saying in the final shot of Part 1: “OK. So what do you want me to talk about?” She spills it all in the second and final part of Tiger, which airs on HBO on Sunday Jan. 17 at 9pm ET and is also available on HBO Max.

Tiger Woods’ Romantic History: From Elin Nordegren Marriage To Erica Herman & More

While Tiger Woods is best known for his golf game, his love life, and the scandals that came with it, have also been splashed across the front pages over the years.

A new HBO documentary telling the story of Tiger Woods’ life premieres on Jan. 10. The two-part series, which is aptly-named Tiger, will delve into the professional golfer’s childhood and his rise to fame, while also detailing the scrutiny of his personal life in the public eye. Of course, that means a look into Tiger’s romantic history, which has made major headlines over the years. Ahead of the documentary premiere, take a look back at the women in Tiger’s life:

Elin Nordegren

Elin Nordegren is a Swedish model who was first introduced to Tiger by a Swedish golfer named Jesper Parnevik at a golf tournament in 2001. Elin was working as a nanny for Jesper’s children at the time. The two started dating and got engaged in November 2003. They tied the knot less than one year later in Oct. 2004 in Barbados, and their daughter, Sam, was born 2007. They had a second child, Charlie, in 2009.

Unfortunately, Tiger and Elin’s marriage began falling apart in 2009 when reports first surfaced that he had cheated on her. The following month, he admitted to being unfaithful, and more women came forward claiming to have had affairs with Tiger. At first, Elin was desperate to save the marriage, especially for the sake of the pair’s young kids. However, she eventually filed for divorce, which was finalized in Aug. 2010.

Elin was very private about the scandal at first, but after the divorce, she opened up about how blindsided she was by the affairs. “I never suspected, not a one,” Elin admitted. However, she didn’t slam her ex-husband in the press. “I wish him all the best in the future, as a person and as an athlete,” she stated. “I know he is going to go down as the best golfer that’s ever lived, and rightfully so.” In 2019, Elin had a baby with former NFL player Jordan Cameron.

Rachel Uchitel

Although Tiger reportedly had affairs with dozens of women during his marriage to Elin, the most memorable mistress of them all is Rachel Uchitel. Rachel, a nightclub manager, was the subject of the first tabloid cover exposing Tiger’s infidelities in Nov. 2009. At the time, she denied being romantically involved with the golfer.

However, Rachel will now appear in the Tiger documentary to speak about her time with the 45-year-old. “Here he was, in my bed, and he was my Tiger,” Rachel can be seen saying in a trailer for the special. After news of her relationship with Tiger broke, she was hounded by the press and paparazzi for months, but was eventually able to move on with her life out of the spotlight.

Now, Rachel is the proud mom of a daughter, who she gave birth to in May 2012. At the time, she was married to her daughter’s father, Matt Hahn, a football player. The two broke up in 2013 and their divorce was finalized at the beginning of 2014.

Lindsey Vonn

Tiger recovered from the fallout of his affairs and divorce, and yes, he even eventually started dating again. He met fellow athlete Lindsey Vonn, a professional skier, at a charity event in 2012. In March 2013, they confirmed that they were dating. Unfortunately, their relationship fizzled out and they split in May 2015.

“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship,” Lindsey said at the time. “I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.” Lindsey got engaged to NHL star, P.K. Subban, in 2019, but at the end of 2020, they announced that they had broken up, as well.

Kristin Smith

Tiger’s next relationship, with stylist Kristin Smith, was more private than his previous romances. The two were first linked in Nov. 2016, and dated until the following summer. In 2018, it was reported that Tiger allegedly had Kristin sign a non-disclosure agreement at the time of their breakup to stop her from talking about what led to their split in the press. An legal battle ensued when Kristin wanted out of the NDA, according to TMZ.

Erica Herman

Since the fall of 2017, Tiger has been in a relationship with a restaurant manager named Erica Herman. The two met because Erica was serving as the manager at one of Tiger’s restaurants. Erica is close with Tiger’s kids, and also appears to have an amicable relationship with Elin. At the end of 2020, Tiger and his son Charlie, 11, played in a golf tournament together, with Elin and Erica watching from the sidelines with each other. Could she be the one!?

Rachel Uchitel: 5 Things About Tiger Woods’ Former Mistress Speaking Out In New Documentary

Rachel Uchitel is known for her 2009 scandal with Tiger Woods, which she’ll open up about in the golf legend’s upcoming documentary ‘Tiger.’ Learn more about Rachel, who’s ready to move past the affair.

Rachel Uchitel, 45, will be talking directly to the camera about her affair scandal with Tiger Woods, 44, in the golf champion’s upcoming HBO Max documentary Tiger, premiering on Jan. 10, 2021. “Here he was, in my bed, and he was my Tiger,” the former nightclub manager said in a sneak peek of the documentary, as she looked back at the scandal that rocked the sports world after the National Enquirer first reported their affair in 2009, while Tiger was still married to Elin Nordegren, 40.

The report of Rachel and Tiger’s affair — which Rachel denied at first — was just one of the many controversies that happened amid Tiger’s 2009 downfall in golf, along with his SUV crash and more allegations from women who claimed to have engaged in affairs with the world-famous athlete. Like Tiger, Rachel has worked on moving past the scandal that has haunted their names in the 11 years that have since passed. Learn more about Rachel before and after her infamous scandal with the world’s former No. 1-ranked golfer, who has won 82 PGA Tours in his lifetime:

1. Long before Tiger came into the picture, Rachel was engaged — and lost her fiance to 9/11.  Rachel had her first brush with the media when her fiancé, an investment banker named James Andrew O’Grady, died amid the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in New York City in 2001. After the devastating attacks, a photo of Rachel crying and clutching a photo of her missing fiancé was published on the front cover of the New York Post.

2. Rachel worked in news, and later nightclubs. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 1996, she went on to work as a producer in the television division at Bloomberg News. She did a career change in 2005, and started working as a VIP hostess at the Tao nightclub in Las Vegas between 2005-2006. This led to a successful career in nightclub management in NYC.

3. Rachel claimed that she first met Tiger through a famous ex who played baseball. “I first met Tiger Woods – I was dating Derek Jeter – and Tiger was sleeping over at Derek’s house,” Rachel revealed on an episode of the Juicy Scoop podcast in Sept. 2020. “He was just a buddy… and we just became friendly. So that’s how I originally met him in Manhattan. I met him a couple of times in the nightclubs through other people and he would come in or whatever.”

Rachel Uchitel is pictured at the premiere for Take Me Home Tonight in LA in 2011. (Photo Credit: AP Images)

4. Rachel joined Tiger’s documentary because it had been “a really hard 10 years” amid all the backlash she has faced from their affair. “I felt like people have gone so low on me sort of about me over the last 10 years after all this stuff that had come out about the scandal that I felt at some point I needed to you know like remove the shackles of what that is like to not have a voice,” Rachel also said on the Juicy Scoop podcast in Sept. 2020.

Rachel then remarked how Tiger has managed to rebrand himself (he even won the 2019 Masters tournament). “Tiger gets to win awards or win his different tournaments. He gets to come out of things and have mishaps, and get up again, and people want to cheer for him. But the women don’t get that so much, not just with him but with any scandal, and that’s not really fair. And I just felt like I needed to be able to have a voice finally,” Rachel explained on the podcast.

“Because it’s been a really hard 10 years of having to just sit there and let people, in the absence of truth, let people say things about me and also just let people talk about me like they know me because they don’t,” she added. “And that’s a really hurtful way to live. It hasn’t been easy, ya know. So I decided to speak.”

5. Rachel now owns a children’s boutique, and is the mom of a seven-year-old  daughter. She left behind the nightclub world to open a children’s boutique named after her daughter, Wyatt Lily, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 2013. Rachel shares her daughter with her ex-husband, Matt Hahn, whom she split from in 2013 as well.

Tiger Woods’ Florida restaurant will be inspected before trial in wrongful death lawsuit

Tiger Woods’ restaurant in Florida will be inspected next month prior to a trial over the wrongful death of an employee who died in a car crash after he was allegedly over-served alcohol at work.

The parents of Nicholas Immesberger sued The Woods Jupiter restaurant last year after their 24-year-old son drove home drunk following his shift and was killed in a crash in December 2018.

Woods and his girlfriend Erica Herman, the general manager of the restaurant at the time, were initially named in the suit but were dropped a few months later.

But the golf star’s nightmare has dragged on as The Woods Jupiter prepares to face trial over Immesberger’s death in March 2021.

The restaurant is scheduled to be inspected on January 6, 2021, by lawyers for the plaintiffs and an expert they hired, according to court papers obtained by The Sun this week.

In their lawsuit Immesberger’s parents, Scott Duchene and Mary Belowsky, accused The Woods Jupiter of over-serving alcohol to a young man ‘who they knew was suffering with the disease of alcoholism’.

On December 10, 2018, Immesberger finished his shift and continued to drink alcohol at the bar for about three hours before getting into his car with an estimated blood alcohol concentration of 0.256 – more than three times the legal limit in Florida.

His fellow employees were said to have known that he struggled with alcoholism.

He lost control of his 1999 Chevrolet Corvette on Federal Highway in Jupiter around 6pm that night, swerved across three lanes, then the car flew into the air, flipped over and crashed in the grass, according to the Palm Beach Post.

He was traveling at more than 100mph on a road with a 55mph speed limit, according to the accident report.

The report lists the cause of death as ‘multiple blunt trauma injuries and the manner of death was an accident’.

It also revealed that Immesberger had traces of the cannabis component THC in his blood as well as alcohol, causing him to be ‘impaired at the time of the traffic crash’.

His heartbroken parents Duchene and Belowsky filed their wrongful death lawsuit in May 2019 via the firm Craig Goldengarb of Palm Beach.

‘The employees, management and owners of the Woods not only ignored Immesberger’s disease, they fueled it by over-serving him alcohol to the point of severe intoxication and then sending him out to his car to drive home,’ the complaint read.

‘Tiger knew, or reasonably should have known, that Immesberger was habitually addicted to the use of any or all alcoholic beverages, and/or was a habitual drunkard.

‘Tiger is individually liable in this action because he individually participated in the serving of alcohol.’

A month after the original suit was filed, the plaintiffs submitted a second one removing Woods as a defendant.

In a statement reacting to the amendment, Woods’ attorneys said: ‘The decision was clearly appropriate and reflected the fact that Mr. Woods should not have been included in the lawsuit in the first place because he had nothing to do with Mr. Immesberger’s death.

‘While the situation was tragic, the facts will ultimately show that the cause of Mr. Immesberger’s car accident were the many decisions made by Mr. Immesberger on the night of his passing.’

The golf star shared his condolences over Immesberger’s death before playing in the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black in May 2019.

‘We’re all very sad that Nick passed away,’ Woods said. ‘It was a terrible night, a terrible ending. And we feel bad for him and his entire family. It’s very sad.’

In September of that year a third version of the lawsuit was filed, removing Herman as a defendant.

Tiger Woods’ Kids Then & Now: See Sam, 13, & Charlie, 11, From Kids To Young Adults

Fans have watched as Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren’s two children have grown up before their eyes. Now they’re heading into their teens, with son Charlie already a golf prodigy like his dad.

Even though Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren‘s marriage ended in a 2010 divorce amid a cheating scandal for the golf superstar, the pair has remained committed and loving co-parents to their two children: 13-year-old daughter Sam Alexis and 11-year-old son Charlie Axel. Sadly the kids were so small when the couple split, with Charlie being only ten-months-old, but  their dedication to raising their two beautiful children remained. Now Sam has grown into a gorgeous young teen, while Charlie is his dad’s mini-me and becoming a little golf star in his own right.

Both of the kids’ lives have been tied to golf, the sport in which their dad has become an icon with his 82 tournament wins, 15 coming in majors. Sam was born on June 18, 2007, just a day after her dad finished second in the U.S. Open in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Charlie came along on Feb. 8, 2009. The kids have been visible over the years cheering on their dad at golf tournaments, as well as making for adorable caddies.

Now Charlie is following in his 44-year-old dad’s steps on the links. The 11-year-old is already an up and coming golfer on the junior circuit, and for the first time he played in a tournament alongside his father at the PNC Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando (Grande Lakes) from Dec. 17-20, 2020. It turned out to be a blended family affair, as Charlie’s mom Elin, 40, and Tiger’s girlfriend Erica Herman stood with Sam as they followed Charlie and Tiger’s play up and down the fairways.

At 13, Sam is now almost as tall as her 5’11” mom, and towered over Erica. They watched as Tiger and his mini-me son twinned in matching red Nike golf shirts and black plants. Just five years ago, Sam she still looked like such a little girl, as the then-seven-year-old wore a white caddy jumpsuit during the 2015 Par 3 tournament that precedes the Masters every April. Now she’s so grown up looking!

In addition to golf, Tiger and Elin are both huge fans of professional tennis. They’ve been photographed separately bringing their kids to enjoy tournaments in South Florida, while Tiger has been seen taking Charlie to the U.S. Open in Flushing New York to watch matches in 2017 and 2019.

After the messy ending to Tiger and Elin’s four year marriage, Tiger explained how he and Elin are now “best friends” during a 2016 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “You told Time magazine less than a year ago that she is one of your best friends. How is that possible? Keeping your ex-wife your best friend, given how that ended, my friend,” Stephen asked the golfing legend, hinting at the blowout Thanksgiving 2009 fight that blew the lid open on Tiger’s alleged infidelities. “That’s more impressive than being 11-time PGA Player of the Year. Honest to God, how do you do that? How did you guys work that out?”

“It becomes two simple things, OK? We have Sam and we have Charlie. And we love them so much that we are going to whatever it takes to make that work. That’s how it happened,” Tiger explained as audience applauded. “She’s been one of my best friends and I’ve talked to her about so many different things and she does the same thing with me back and forth. We communicate so much better now, it’s incredible. I wish we would have done that earlier on, but it’s been incredible to have a best friend like that.”

Charlie Woods: 5 Things About Tiger’s Son, 11, Who Played His 1st Pro Golf Competition

Like father, like son! Tiger Woods’ mini-me Charlie is already taking after his dad, making an incredible shot while competing at the PNC Championship.

Viewers thought they were seeing double at the PNC Championship Tour on December 19 when Tiger Woods stepped out with his son, Charlie, 11. The pair took part in the father-son competition in Florida for the first time, and the world champ might just be raising a fellow golf pro! All eyes were on Charlie — who twinned with his dad in a bright purple golf shirt — while he amazed viewers with an incredible shot. Here’s 5 things to know about him.

1. He hit the only ‘eagle shot’ of the day. Charlie and Tiger were in fourth place at the time of the 11-year-old’s third hole shot, which a PGA Tour announcer declared the only “eagle shot” of the day. “Charlie steps up, and he days, ‘dad, I’ve got you on this.’ The only eagle of the day,” the announcer said. “We believe this was a five wood which he ripped from 175 yards with dad watching close by…it was within about four feet for eagle.” His proud dad was practically beaming with an ear-to-ear grin as he high-fived Charlie.

2. Tiger said he sees himself in Charlie. “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be playing with Charlie in our first official tournament together,” Tiger said in November ahead of the PNC Championship. “It’s been great watching him progress as a junior golfer, and it will be incredible playing as a team together in the PNC Championship.” He also explained that Charlie was “starting to understand how to play. He’s asking me the right questions. I’ve kept it competitive with his par, so it’s been just an absolute blast to go out there and just be with him. It reminds me so much of me and my dad [growing up].”

3. Charlie has also won two PGA junior events. Charlie previously won two events on the South Florida PGA Junior Tour. His dad acted as his caddie, and the golf pro said he was re-living his glory days through his son. “I wish I had his move,” Tiger said. “I analyze his swing all the time. I wish I could rotate like that and turn my head like that and do some of those positions. Those days are long gone. I have to re-live it through him.”

4. Charlie’s mom is Swedish model Elin Nordegren. Elin and Tiger met in 2001 and were married in October 2004. They had a lavish ceremony at a resort in Barbados, which cost almost $2 million. Nevertheless, the pair divorced in 2010 after Tiger admitted to cheating. She has since moved on with NFL player Jordan Cameron, and the pair welcomed a baby boy in October 2019.

5. Charlie also has an older sister. Along with his baby half-brother, Charlie has a 13-year-old sister named Sam Woods.
