The celebrations will be truncated this year to maintain social distancing as much as possible owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Republic Day parade will also not have a chief guest this year with Britain Prime Minister Boris Johnson not being able to make it also due to the pandemic. The route of the Republic Day Parade will also be shorter this year. The parade will begin at Rashtrapati Bhawan and end at India Gate instead of Red Fort. Here’s how to watch the Republic Day Parade live, online and on TV.

How to watch Republic Day Parade 2021 online

The daredevil motorcyclists that appear towards the end of the parade right before the Indian Air Force flypast and draw the loudest cheers from the crows won’t be performing this year as mandated by social distancing norms.

How to watch live telecast of Republic Day Parade on TV via DTH

The Republic Day Parade 2021 will also be broadcasted live on the DD National channel as is the case every year. The standard-definition or SD channel run by Doordarshan is provided free-of-cost by DTH providers, including Tata Sky, Airtel, and Dish TV.

Watch out! You could receive a package from Amazon that you did not request and it is a scam | The State

In case the shipment is wrong, the company could authorize you to keep the package.

Aaron P. Bernstein / Getty Images

Many things can go wrong when you order from Amazon or any other company online. Your package could be lost, stolen, or arrive much later than you anticipated. Now you can add one more concern to that list: receive packages you did not request.

How a site report reports Clark howard, there is a scam in e-commerce called blow dry, in which sellers use fake accounts to buy your own products and then mail them to unsuspecting people.

This is an indirect way of ensuring that they can write positive reviews for your own products, thus giving a boost to your articles in the search results of Amazon or other companies.

The good news is that the law allows you to keep the items they send you, as the site points out Lifehacker. The Federal Trade Commission says that “if you receive merchandise that you have not ordered, you have the legal right to keep it as a gift.” This is intended to protect consumers from dubious companies that ship things to you and then demand payment, which is illegal.

The bad new

If you are the victim of a scam of “blow dry“, Means that your personal information, your name and shipping address, have probably been compromised.

Many of these “ghost sellers” do not include the return address or order number on the package. If they shipped an illegal product, like drugs or weapons at the door of your home, you could have legal problems. The best thing you can do is inform Amazon of the merchandise that you did not order so that they are aware of the problem.

Related: Amazon offers help to Biden to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.

There are also other explanations for why you received a package that you did not order. It could be a gift, especially at this time of year. The buyer decides whether or not to include a gift receipt, but they may have intended it to be a gift even though they did not check the box for “gift receipt“. It can also be a confusion. For instructions on how to return a gift or a wrong order, you can visit the Amazon Returns Center.

However, let’s say you’ve received a package from Amazon that is addressed to a different person. In that case, you can contact Amazon and offer to return it. Note that the company is obliged to pay the shipping costs that correspond to you. In some cases, they may even tell you that you keep the package, As reported Lifehacker. See it as a kind of reward for trying to do the right thing.

TI & Tiny’s Daughter Heiress, 4, Is So Cute Crying In Lost TikTok Video — Watch

Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris took to Instagram to share an adorable throwback video of her ‘lil actress’ Heiress crying ‘real tears’.

Heiress Harris, 4, showed off her crying ability in an old video her mom found and posted to social media. The daughter of Tameka “Tiny” Harris, 45, and T.I., 40, was scrunching up her face and looked distressed over something that wasn’t clear as she cleaned off what appeared to be the phone in the TikTok clip, which Tiny posted on Jan. 23. The doting parent seemed to confirm her baby girl’s mood wasn’t over anything serious, in the lighthearted caption for the post, and asked other mothers if their kids did the same thing.

“I’m going thru my pictures & of course I find tons of videos of @heiressdharris making tiktok videos but this one here took the cake!! My lil actress why does she have real tears⁉️ How many mothers have to deal with this⁉️🤯 @disney @nickelodeon COME GET HER‼️ Lol 👑💜,” the funny caption read.

Once the post was shared, it didn’t take long for Tiny’s followers to respond. “Heiress is a superb actress!!!! Yaaasss lil mama,” one follower wrote while another called her “so precious and a smart little girl.. The future 💜💜.” A third wrote, “she’s the cutest!!” and a fourth told Tiny the tot was “super super cute.”

This isn’t the first time Heiress has wowed social media users with her cute antics and memorable moments. On Dec. 12, Tiny posted a video of her mini-me reading with the help of Eddie Sanders, M.Ed., aka Mr. OSEA (OnSite Education Anywhere). The proud mother watched on as Mr. OSEA taught her how the “bossy E” changed the sound of some words and the little girl danced with joy while pronouncing certain similar words like “rak” versus “rake.”

Tiny revealed that the video was from a homeschooling session in the caption. “Ok Heiress‼️ If only I would’ve started with you when you first reached out @onsite_ed thank you…. I love it!,” she wrote alongside a crown and purple heart emoji as well as the hashtags, “#HomeschoolingwitHeiress #OnsiteEducation”.

Watch: Kerala boy, 14, in Dubai makes special Modi portrait as Republic Day tribute

Dubai: A 14-year-old boy in Dubai has made a special portrait of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a tribute to mark the Indian Republic Day that falls on January 26.

The six-layered stencil portrait, measuring 90cm by 60cm, is drawn by Saran Sasikumar, a grade nine student of New Indian Model School in Dubai. It is set to reach Modi in a few days after he got a chance to present it to Indian minister V. Muraleedharan, who wound up a three-day visit to the UAE on Thursday night. The Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs has promised to present the portrait to Modi, Saran and family told Gulf News on Friday.

In a Twitter post on Friday morning, the minister posted a photo of him accepting the portrait from Saran and his parents and wrote: “Happy to meet in #Dubai the talented young artist Saran Sasi Kumar from Kerala, now a resident in #UAE. He presented this beautiful portrait, a 6 layered stencil painting, to our PM @narendramodi ji as a Republic Day gift. Truly inspiring! My best wishes to him.”

Saran drew the picture of Modi receiving a guard of honour during the 50th year celebration of the foundation of India’s Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in 2019. The PM is seen wearing a wide-brimmed cavalry hat with the logo of CISF while saluting the CISF guards.

It took around six hours to draw the picture with layers of six colour shades said Saran, who has drawn 92 portraits including those of top UAE leaders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A big Modi fan, this is not the first Modi picture that Saran has drawn. He had also made another five-layered stencil portrait of Modi — which measured 1.5m by 1m — in October last year. He has bagged a grandmaster certification from Asia Book of Records and another certificate from India Book of Records for that stencil art portrait.

Though he had begun showing interest in art when he was as young as eight by making mural paintings, Saran said his interest in painting portraits grew only recently. “The first portrait I made was of my parents for their wedding anniversary two years ago. After that it was during the stay-home period due to COVID that I started drawing more portraits of friends and relatives.”

70 portraits in 5 months

Seeing the happiness of his loved ones when they received their portraits as gifts made him decide to draw more of them. He then began making stencil art portraits of celebrities and his favourite leaders of India and the UAE and completed 70 portraits in five months during the peak of the pandemic.

Among the UAE leaders, he has made 90cm by 60cm multilayered stencil portraits of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces offers, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council as well as His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. “I am planning to finish the portraits of rulers of all the emirates in one month and I wish to hold an exhibition,” said Saran.

Portraits of India’s Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam are also among his favourites. Saran said is thankful to his art teacher Krishnanand, his parents Sasikumar. G and Bindhu Sasikumar and his brother Sarath Sasikumar for their support and guidance.

The little artist is also a talented musician playing keyboard and tabla.

Two OnePlus Watch Variants Tipped to Launch in India Soon

OnePlus Watch models have received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, as per a tipster. Two models of the smartwatch have been allegedly spotted on the Indian certification website. One of them has also reportedly received Singapore’s IMDA certification. OnePlus has already confirmed that it is developing a smartwatch and its Co-Founder and CEO Pete Lau has said that the OnePlus Watch is set to launch early this year. The Chinese tech company recently launched the OnePlus Band in India as its first wearable product.

As per a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma, two models of the OnePlus Watch have appeared on the BIS certification website. These watches are said to carry model numbers W501GB and W301GB. The model number W301GB has also been reportedly spotted on the IMDA certification site.

Last year, OnePlus Co-Founder and CEO Pete Lau revealed that the company would launch the OnePlus Watch in 2021. Another report claimed that the smartwatch could debut in March.

Earlier reports suggest that the smartwatches could be called OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Watch RX. As per a code that suggested the monikers, the OnePlus Watch could have a square dial and the OnePlus Watch RX could come with a round dial — just like the Oppo Watch RX.

OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus Band in India. It comes with an AMOLED display that supports touch inputs. It also has blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate monitoring. The OnePlus Band works with the OnePlus Health app and includes 13 exercise modes.

Watch out for snow on vehicles

A pile of snow that fell from a moving truck on Route 138 could have had serious consequences for a student from Port-Cartier, on the North Shore. Alexandre Bezeau suffered minor injuries when his car’s windshield was completely smashed through as a result of gross negligence.

On Tuesday morning, the 18-year-old was driving to Sept-Îles, alone at the wheel of his car, when he passed a semi-trailer truck in a 90-kilometer-per-hour zone.

A large block of snow then hit the windshield of his vehicle on the driver’s side. Alexandre Bezeau had just enough time to close his eyes to protect himself. He suffered only a few scratches to his face and hands.

“I thought it was soft snow. It hit the windshield and it hit me, “said the driver on Wednesday, who lost consciousness before coming to his senses and bringing his vehicle to a stop.

“I don’t even have glass in my eyes, I got nothing,” he said in an interview with TVA Nouvelles.

“It can also happen with vehicles not cleared of snow. It can happen anywhere and to anyone. I may have trauma later. When I hit the road, I will be afraid of meeting trucks as well. I’ll settle down, I’ll go slower, that’s for sure. “

He hopes his mishap will make road users think about the importance of securing loads and clearing snow from vehicles properly.

The Sûreté du Québec opened an investigation following this event. The driver of the heavy vehicle did not stop after the accident.

RHOC’s Kelly Dodd & Andy Cohen Feud Over COVID As She Says ‘I Hate Wearing A Mask’ — Watch

Kelly Dodd and Andy Cohen butted heads on part one of the ‘RHOC’ reunion, which aired on Jan. 20. Andy grilled Kelly about her COVID-19 statements, while Kelly said her fans think Andy is ‘Anti-American.’

Tensions were high between Kelly Dodd, 45, and Andy Cohen, 52, when the subject turned to the coronavirus pandemic on part one of The Real Housewives of Orange County on Jan. 20. Kelly has sparked one controversy after the other for her insensitive comments about the pandemic, and Andy wanted to hear Kelly’s thoughts about wearing masks now that they were face-to-face.

“I hate wearing a mask, I think everyone’s on that with me,” Kelly admitted. “I will wear them because I have to. Does your pants protect you from a fart? Are the masks helping? I don’t know.” This led Andy to point out that he’s been receiving messages from fans who think the RHOC star is taking the pandemic too lightly, and so the Kelly backtracked by saying, “I feel bad for anyone who lost loved ones, I think it’s horrific, I think it’s horrible. Did I take it seriously? Yeah. But I also was frustrated.”

Andy persisted. “Your behavior has really outraged people,” the RHOC executive producer added, but Kelly didn’t seem to think this was hurting her fame. “My fan base is building, I haven’t lost any followers,” she insisted. This didn’t satisfy Andy, who added, “I mean, the amount of messages that I get that you’re uneducated, you’re putting out misinformation, you’re behaving like a moron.”

Instead of apologizing, Kelly decided to fight back by claiming she has received unfavorable messages about Andy as well. “I get them too, saying that you’re anti-American, that you put your political beliefs out there,  that they don’t want to watch a political show,” Kelly retorted. This caught Andy by surprise, who asked if Kelly’s fans think he’s “anti-American” just because he doesn’t “like Donald Trump.” Kelly confirmed that’s exactly what she meant.

The subject then turned back to Kelly’s social media posts about the pandemic. Andy wanted to know if Kelly ever took a minute to wonder if she shouldn’t post such things, and Kelly got defensive. “I feel like sh-t. I feel horribly and you’re making it worse,” she said.

Andy ignored the jab by asking, “Are you worried you’re gonna be on the wrong side of history?” Kelly no longer wanted to apologize and instead clapped back, “Oh my god, what do you want from me? Seriously, what do you want? I’m sorry for hurting people’s feelings when that wasn’t my intent. What do you want from me?”

This isn’t the first time Andy has scolded Kelly for her remarks about the virus. On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in Dec. 2020, the talk show host asked if Kelly has “any remorse” for writing that the pandemic is “God’s way of thinning the herd” in an Instagram comment in April (Kelly later apologized for the remark via Twitter in May, but offered another apology on Andy’s show). Kelly also once said that “no one is dying” of COVID-19 in Orange County and compared the disease to the flu, and the reality television star insisted during the WWHL appearance that she was just “misinformed” at the time.
