Ina is a bear marked by the trauma of captivity after spend 20 years of your life sharing a very small cage at the Piatra Neamt Zoo, Romania. The animal walks in circles despite having a much more generous space since it was transferred to the Libearty bear sanctuary, located in the Romanian town of Zarnesti.
During her captivity, Ina shared a room with her sister Anca and they only came out of their cage for a walk once a week, according to Timisoara Online.
His story has been made public on social networks this week by the Libearty Shrine through a video in which hee can see the bear “trapped” in an imaginary cage in which it is still spinning.
“This is the image of trauma that sometimes is never cured and is never forgotten,” said the representatives of the Millions of Friends Association, who, after several years denouncing Ina’s situation, and with the support of the National Environmental Guard , they managed to transfer the bear to the sanctuary.
In addition to the video, the bear sanctuary shared the following reflection with the aim of making the population aware of this type of situation: “When you visit a zoo with small cages or a circus where there are bears remember this.”
Currently, Ina has a patch of trees, her own pool and den for shelter, although it is likely that some time will pass and she will need help until she learns to live outside that imaginary cage.

Susan Lucille Wright killed her husband with a knife.

Susan Lucille Wright, convicted of stabbing her husband to death in 193 Texas, and burying the body in a hole in the backyard of her house, she was released from jail last week on probation after spending 16 years locked up.
Wright, 44, of Houston, was released last Wednesday morning from Murray Unit in Gatesville, local and national media reported.
The woman, nicknamed the “Butcher with the Blue Eyes”, was convicted of the murder of Jeff Wright, 34 years old.
Upon leaving the prison, the woman refused to talk to the media that came to her house and asked to be left alone.
“I just want privacy. Please respect that, ”Wright said, as quoted by wpxi.com
“I’m sure all of you can understand, but don’t do this to my family,” added the American.
“Even if you do it to me, please don’t do it to them,” Wright asked.
The female was convicted in 2004 to 25 years. However, a judge found in 2009 that attorneys in the process rendered ineffective assistance in the guilty phase of the trial.
As a result of the foregoing, the Court ruled out five years of the prison term in a resentencing hearing in 2010.
The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles told ABC 13 that Wright will remain under intense supervision with a GPS device until 2024 when the sentence expires.
In addition, you will need to receive anger management counseling and will not be able to leave the state.
To commit the murder, the woman tied her husband to the bed with ties and other items on the night of January 13, 2003.
“According to the state, the night Jeff was murdered, (Susan) carried out an elaborate plan to seduce him so that, in anticipation of the sexual act, he would let him tie him to the bed,” the case documents indicate. “Once Jeff was tied up and found defenseless, she returned with a knife and, with unfathomable rage, brutally stabbed him over and over again,” added authorities.
The motive, according to prosecutors, was to keep the $ 200,000 of the man’s life insurance.
As part of the judicial process, the alleged pattern of sexual and physical abuse to which the woman was subjected by her husband also emerged.
The 2012 Lifetime movie “Blue-Eyed Butcher” enacts the moment when prosecutors showed the blood-filled mattress on which Wright committed the attack at trial.
Vanessa Kirby has said she “stands with all survivors of abuse” following allegations against Shia LaBeouf.
In December, LaBeouf’s former girlfriend and music artist FKA Twigs sued the actor for sexual assault and battery, along with accusing him of causing her emotional distress during their relationship between 2018 and 2019.
British actress Vanessa Kirby stars alongside LaBeouf in Netflix film Pieces of a Woman, which is released on the streaming platform on Friday, January 7.
When asked to comment on the allegations being brought against LaBeouf, Kirby told The Sunday Times: “I stand with all survivors of abuse and respect the courage of anyone who speaks their truth.
“Regarding the recent news, I can’t comment on an ongoing legal case.”
In an email to the New York Times who first reported FKA Twig’s accusations, LaBeouf himself broadly addressed his past behaviour towards FKA Twigs and another former girlfriend, noting he had: “been abusive to myself and everyone round me for years”.
He added: “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behaviour made them feel.”
The actor continued: “I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalisations…. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”
However, FKA Twigs’ lawyer Bryan Freedman claimed that the singer tried to resolve the situation with LaBeouf in private if he sought to receive “meaningful and consistent psychological treatment.”
Yet, he added that this was not agreed by LaBeouf and says his client took action to prevent others “suffering similar abuse”.
Last month, LaBeouf’s lawyer Shawn Holley who served on OJ Simpson’s defence team, told Variety in a statement: “Shia needs help and he knows that. We are actively seeking the kind of meaningful, intensive, long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs.”
In scenes in the film Pieces of a Woman, LaBeouf’s character Sean tries to initiate sex with his partner Martha (Kirby) after both undergo a tremendous personal tragedy.
He also throws an object at her face in a scene during the film.
The film has won much critical acclaim, particularly for Kirby’s performance which earned her the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival in September 2020.
Pieces of a Woman also stars Molly Parker, Sarah Snook, Jimmie Fails, and Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn.
Pieces of a Woman is released on Netflix on January 7, 2020.
Sharjah: Two Emirati prisoners — Hassan and Ali — who had lost all hope after being sentenced to life in jail, are grateful to Sharjah Police for helping them get back on track with their lives as they were released early — thanks to Sharjah Police.
Most inmates take to drugs once they are released. Even if they don’t die of an overdose, they often end up getting arrested again for drug-related crimes. Without help, very few are actually able to put the broken pieces of their lives back together while battling a killer addiction. Sharjah jail has helped break that cycle with the help of rehabilitation programmes that are designed to help the inmates return to normal life.
Brigadier Ahmad Abdul Aziz Shuhail
The director of Sharjah Punitive Establishments Department told Gulf News that the prison has an “open-door policy” and prisoners are encouraged to discuss any problem that they may have with any of the staff members.
The two young Emirati inmates had entered the Sharjah Punitive and Rehabilitation Centre in 2013 after being sentenced to life terms. They were both 18 years old then.
Looking back at the path that eventually led them out of prison, the duo told Gulf News: “We are grateful to Sharjah Police for the respect and dignity that they have shown us at a time utmost misery in our lives. While in jail, we realised the true meaning of family ties. The staff at the prison were taking good care of us and doing for us no less than what our families would have done. For those without hope, they are the hope.”
Both the inmates have been pardoned and released from jail.
They further said: “We have spent around seven years … We owe them [especially the jail employees] our life after Almighty Allah.”
Brigadier Ahmad said Major General Saif Al Ziri, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, visits the jail regularly and personally follows up on inmates’ issues. “We follow the guidelines to ensure that they all have their full rights in rehabilitation, medical care, nutrition and in communicating with their families and lawyers. The inmates have complete freedom, the support of the entire correctional facility and their rights are fully protected.”
When the two Emirati inmates entered the facility, they were yet to complete their studies. Hassan was in Grade 8, while Ali was in Grade 7. During the course of their stay at the correctional facility, they both obtained their diploma from IATA and the authorities have subsequently helped them find employment. Brig Shuhail said that the inmates had showed tremendous improvements in their behaviour and attitude during their stay at the establishment. Brig Shuhail further said that all the rehabilitation programmes carried out at the central jail are aimed to make the inmates realise the mistakes they committed.
Inmates obtain diplomas
Hassan and Ali were in the first batch of five inmates who obtained their diplomas in travel and tourism this year. This diploma was launched on October 29, 2017, and it was a joint initiative from Skyline University College (SUC) and Sharjah Police. The correctional facility has helped the inmates secure jobs and they are now happily employed. A total of 20 inmates have joined the second batch. Three of them have already been released and will continue with their academic pursuits outside the jail, the expenses for which will be borne by Sharjah Punitive and Rehabilitation Establishment.

Her dad, Mossimo Giannulli, 57, is still currently serving his five-month sentence.
Lori was released “just two days shy of serving two months”, according to TMZ, and now that she’s out, she’ll be on two years of supervised release. She will also have to complete the required community service and pay a court-ordered fine. She hasn’t made any kind of public statement since she got back home but a source told Us Weekly that she had a “bittersweet reunion” with Olivia and her other daughter, Bella Giannulli, 22.
“Lori had a very emotional reunion with her daughters this morning at the family home. She was relieved to be out of prison,” the source told the outlet adding that “it was very bittersweet, however, because Moss wasn’t there.”
Five weeks after Lori first began her sentence, Olivia went on Red Table Talk to break her silence on the scandal and revealed she hadn’t spoken to her mom since she entered the facility. “There’s a quarantine phase because of COVID, so I think that’s the reason, but I haven’t heard anything,” she said on the Dec. 8 episode of the show.

Quarterback Dwayne Haskins was released by the Washington Football Team (WFT) on Monday after it was revealed that he violated NFL pandemic protocol by attending a party without wearing a mask.
‘My time with the WFT has unfortunately come to an end,’ Haskins said in a statement on Twitter. ‘I thank the team & fans for the opportunity to play for the team I grew up rooting for.
‘I take full responsibility for not meeting the standards of a NFL QB & will become a better man & player because of this experience.’
Last week, Haskins was fined $40,000 and stripped of his captaincy after pictures surfaced showing him partying mask-less with women.
TMZ and other news outlets have reported that the women in the photos are strippers, which could not be confirmed by the Daily Mail. However, one photo shows Haskins and a woman holding stacks of bills in their hands. Haskins said the event was actually a birthday party for his girlfriend.

A woman with the Instagram handle @kalabrya posted the pictures of Haskins and a group of women who were all wearing his No. 7 on their Washington Football Team t-shirts
‘This afternoon I met with Dwayne and informed him that we would be releasing him,’ Washington coach Ron Rivera said in a statement. ‘I told him that I believe it benefits both parties that we go our separate ways. We want to thank Dwayne for his contributions these last two seasons and wish him well moving forward.’
Rivera remained positive about Haskins’s future in the NFL.
‘You watch his talent, and you see the arm,’ Rivera said. ‘That’s the thing that I think is his most redeeming quality as a quarterback, which I think is probably the most important thing.’
The former Ohio State star signed a four-year, $14 million contract with Washington after being selected with 15th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. It’s unclear how much of that he will lose, but he was slated to earn over $4 million over the next two seasons. Attempts to reach Haskins’s agent were unsuccessful.
Haskins recently apologized after the aforementioned party pictures surfaced on social media.
‘I want to publicly apologize for my actions this past Sunday,’ Haskins wrote on social media back on December 22. ‘I spoke with Coach Rivera yesterday and took full accountability for putting the team at risk.
‘It was irresponsible and immature of me and I accept responsibility for my action.’
It was his second protocol violation this season.
Rivera announced Monday that either Alex Smith, who is recovering from injury, or Taylor Heinicke will start for Washington in the regular-season finale. Despite being 6-9, the team can win the division and earn a playoff berth with a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.
Rivera is ‘optimistic’ Smith will be ready to play at the Philadelphia Eagles after missing the past two games with a strained right calf. Haskins started those two games, both losses, is 1-5 this season and turned the ball over three times in a 20-13 defeat to Carolina on Sunday that saw him benched for Heinicke.
Coach Ron Rivera announced Monday that either Alex Smith, who is recovering from injury, or Taylor Heinicke will start for Washington in the regular-season finale. Despite being 6-9, the team can win the division and earn a playoff berth with a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Although not as serious as the right leg injury that kept him out of the NFL for over a season, Smith’s recent calf injury was serious enough to sideline him on Sunday
Dwayne Haskins won’t start at quarterback for the Washington Football Team again, as the franchise released the second-year quarterback on Monday.
“This afternoon I met with Dwayne and informed him that we would be releasing him,” Washington head coach Ron Rivera said in a statement. “I told him that I believe it benefits both parties that we go our separate ways. We want to thank Dwayne for his contributions these last two seasons and wish him well moving forward.”
The 2019 first-round pick out of Ohio State had been benched in favor of former fourth-stringer Taylor Heinicke in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 20-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
After the game, the 23-year-old Haskins said that he needs to “get my life together” following a week that also included him getting fined $40,000 and losing his captaincy for partying with strippers without a mask in violation of the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols. He also had been fined nearly $5,000 in October for inviting a family friend to the team hotel, another rules violation.
“Definitely the hardest week of my life,” Haskins said after the game. “I just want to bounce back and move forward, pray and get my life together.
“You sign up for this job and sometimes being human isn’t enough.”
Rivera announced earlier Monday that Heinicke will start the season finale with the NFC East title on the line if injured Alex Smith (calf) is unable to play Sunday night in Philadelphia.
The winner of the 1 p.m. game between the Giants and the Dallas Cowboys would be crowned NFC East champions if first-place Washington (6-9) loses to the eliminated Eagles.
Heinicke, the former Old Dominion quarterback with seven previous games (one start) of NFL experience, completed 12 of 19 pass attempts for 137 yards and one touchdown without an interception after replacing Haskins, who threw two interceptions and committed a fumble in the loss.
“I thought there are a lot of positives to it,” Rivera said of Heinicke. “I think he showed what I was hoping to see when he got his opportunity, that it wasn’t too big.”
Rivera added that the 36-year-old Smith “was very close last week” before missing his second straight game with a strained calf. The 14-year veteran had led Washington to four wins in five starts in his return to the field after missing all of last season with serious leg injuries suffered in Nov. 2018.
“I thought he had an exceptional day on Friday, but it’s always about how that person feels the next day and he felt it was still grabbing him a little bit,” Rivera said of Smith. “This week, I’m optimistic about the opportunity.”
Haskins, the 15th overall pick in the 2019 draft, will not get another opportunity with the organization.
Haskins was benched in October after four games and reportedly requested a trade earlier this season, but injuries to Brandon Allen and Smith necessitated his return to the starting lineup in a Week 15 loss to Seattle. He has five touchdown passes and seven interceptions in seven appearances (six starts) this season.

Lori Loughlin has been released from prison after serving just under two months for her role in the college admissions scandal.
The Full House actress had been held in FCI Dublin in California since Halloween Eve. She was released from prison Monday, TMZ reports.
Her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, is serving his five-month sentence at a prison in Lompoc near Santa Barbara, California.
Loughlin and Giannulli were among the highest-profile defendants charged in the scheme, which revealed the lengths to which some wealthy parents will go to get their children into elite universities.
The couple admitted in May to paying $500,000 to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California as crew recruits even though neither girl was a rower.
Their guilty plea was a stunning reversal for the couple, whose lawyers had insisted for a year were innocent and accused investigators of fabricating evidence against them.

Loughlin and Giannulli were both initially supposed to report to prison on November 19, but prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed Loughlin could start her sentence on October 30.
Loughlin also agreed that she would not seek early release on coronavirus-related grounds, prosecutors said. Giannulli is scheduled to be released on April 17, the Bureau of Prisons says.
The only public comments either Loughlin or Giannulli made about the case since their arrest last year came at their sentencing hearings in August.
Loughlin told the judge her actions ‘helped exacerbate existing inequalities in society’ and pledged to do everything in her power to use her experience as a ‘catalyst to do good.’

Their younger daughter, social media influencer Olivia Jade, made her first public remarks about the scandal this month on the series ‘Red Table Talk.’ Olivia Jade said she doesn’t want or deserve pity.
‘We messed up. I just want a second chance to be like, ‘I recognize I messed up.’ And for so long I wasn’t able to talk about this because of the legalities behind it,’ she said.
Of the nearly 60 parents, coaches and others charged in the case, about a dozen are still fighting the allegations. The sentences for the parents who have pleaded so far in the case range from a couple weeks to nine months.
