Due to Corona, big change in voting rules, postal ballot will enable the elderly above 65 years

Major changes have been made in the voting rules due to the global epidemic corona virus. Elderly people over 65 years of age, corona patients and suspected voters will be able to vote through postal ballot. In this regard, the Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a notification.

Due to corona worldwide, normal life has been completely affected. Lockdown remained in force in India for several months, due to which all activities were stopped. At the same time, Bihar assembly elections are going to be held in October and November this year. In such a situation, it is believed that the corona virus is going to have a major impact on the election as well.

Significantly, after the arrival of 19,148 new cases of Kovid-19 in India in a day, the number of infected people has crossed six lakhs on Thursday and the number of dead reached 17,834. Just five days ago, the number of infected people had crossed five lakh.

Corona virus infection cases in the country took 110 days to reach one lakh whereas in just 44 days the cases crossed six lakhs.
