Air India will not book tickets till 30 April The
government carrier Air India has decided not to book tickets for the journey till 30 April. Air India issued a statement late Friday saying that till April 30, ticket booking has been stopped for all domestic and international flights. The company says that we are waiting for the government’s decision after April 14. Let us know that all domestic and international flights in the country are suspended till 14 April. This suspension is implemented because of the lockdown imposed to prevent coronaviruses. However, Civil Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola has said on Thursday that airlines can book tickets for any day trip after April 14. The lockdown has been going on for 21 days since March 25 in the country.
Most airlines started booking
Now most of the airlines started booking air tickets for the journey from 15 April. Indigo, SpiceJet and Go Air have started booking tickets for domestic air travel after 15 April. SpiceJet and GoAir are also selling tickets for international flights after May 1. An Indigo spokesperson said on Friday that we have started booking tickets for air travel between April 15 and April 30. Vistara Airlines has also started booking tickets for travel after 15 April.
Railways can also start operations
from April 15 Indian Railways can also start operating its passenger trains from April 15. Railways have started preparations for this. The Railway Board has asked all the 17 zonal railways to be prepared for this. An official of the Railway Board says that passenger trains can be started from 12 pm on 14 April. In addition to long-distance express trains, preparations are also being made to run local and passenger trains.
