Tata Nexon’s new XZ + (S) variant launched with electric sunroof, fully loaded XZ (O) model at Rs. 30 thousandCheap, Starting Price Rs. 10.10 Lakh

new Delhi. Tata Motors has added a new XZ + (S) variant to the sub-compact SUV Nexon. Its petrol-manual version is priced at Rs 10.10 lakh and diesel-manual version is priced at Rs 11.60 lakh. Talking about the automatic transmission model XZA + (S), the petrol model is Rs 10.70 lakh and the diesel model is Rs 12.20 lakh. The new model is 60 thousand rupees costlier than the XZ + variant of Nexon but 30 thousand rupees cheaper than the fully loaded variant XZ (O).

Nexon XZ + (S) variant: many advanced features including sunroof

Apart from all the features of the XZ + model, the S variant will get many additional features, most notably the electric sunroof, which was previously available only in the fully loaded variant XZ (O). It gets leather wrapped gearnob like XZ (O) and express cool function for steering, tire pressure monitor, auto headlamps and wipers, cruise control and climate control system. However, the company’s connected car technology is still limited to the fully loaded XZ (O) variant.

Nexon XZ + (S) variant: will get two engine options

The new XZ + (S) model will get BS6 compliant 1.2 liter turbo-petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. Both get 6 speed manual and automatic gearbox options. It is expected that the lower variant sunroof will increase its popularity among customers and increase its sales. This is in line with the Hyundai Venue and the recently launched Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300.
