Five to six Naxalites were also killed in the encounter. It is being told that many Naxalites have also been injured. The soldiers have recovered the body of a slain Naxalite. At the same time, there is a preparation to bring injured soldiers to Raipur by airlift. The condition of many of them is said to be critical.

According to information released by the DGP of Chhattisgarh, five to six Naxalites were killed in this encounter. An equal number of Naxalites are estimated to be injured. Some DRG personnel have also been injured in the encounter. He has been admitted to the hospital. More information will be available after the soldiers return from the forest.

Naxalites implicate jawans in Ambush during TCOC

Police had received reports of large number of Naxalites in Kasalpad area. After this, the team of DRG and STF were dispatched from Dornapal on Friday. This team reached Burkapal and from here a troop of Cobra jawans accompanied them for an Naxalite encounter. It is being told that the jawans were trying to trap the naxalites in a surprise encounter, but the news of the jawans entering the jungles had already reached the naxalites.

Naxalites allowed the soldiers to enter the jungle under the strategy

The Naxalites allowed the jawans to enter the jungles as part of the strategy. The soldiers went ahead of Kasalpad and when the Naxalites did not see any movement, they started returning. As soon as the security forces came out of Kasalpad, the Naxalites got trapped in the ambush. The Naxalites attacked the soldiers from the top of the mountain near Koraj Dongri, some distance ahead of Kasalpad. Some soldiers were injured and some were killed in the sudden firing. After this, there was intermittent firing from both. During this time, the soldiers tried to lift the injured and martyred soldiers from the spot, then some other soldiers were also shot.
