Tamil Nadu Boiler Blast: Big blast at Neyveli thermal plant in Tamil Nadu, four dead, many injured

Chennai: A boiler in Stage-2 of Newveli Thermal Plant, Tamil Nadu has exploded. Four people are reported to have died in this blast. Currently 17 injured have been taken to NLC Lignite Hospital. It is being told that electricity is made from coal in this plant. Rescue operation is being conducted for the people trapped in the plant.

Reasons for the blast are not known yet

However, no death has been confirmed by the local administration so far. At the moment, all the officials have reached the incident. However, the reasons for the blast have not been known yet. It is also expected that the number of casualties in this accident may increase. Fire brigade vehicles are engaged in controlling fire and smoke on the spot.
