Schools and colleges to open after 15 August

new Delhi. Schools and colleges closed across the country due to Corona crisis and lockdown can be reopened in the month of August. There is every possibility of this. In a recent interview, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal has said that schools and colleges that have been closed since March 16, will re-open after August 2020. About 33 crore students are waiting for the news of reopening of the school. 

With the end of the fourth phase of lockdown coming in late May, it was believed that schools and colleges would open in July with 30 percent attendance and younger students would stay at home. The Green and Orange zones will first reopen their educational institutions and the school will be in two shifts to maintain physical distance.

After weeks of confusion from students, teachers and parents, HRD Minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal finally revealed in an interview that schools and colleges would be reopened after August 2020. Probably this can be done after 15 August 2020. The minister said, we are trying to declare the results of all examinations from this session till August 15.

It is planned that the CBSE board exam will be held from July 1 to July 15, the ICSE / ISC exam will start from July 1 and run till July 12. NEET and JEE are also being held in July while NEET will be on 26 July, JEE will be from 18 July to 23 July.

When the schools reopen, the guidelines of UGC, NCERT will be followed. When the UGC was deciding on security guidelines to reopen colleges and universities, NCERT was doing the same thing for schools.

According to reports, teachers will need to wear masks and gloves. Thermal scanners will be installed in schools. Only two students will sit in three seats. Full monitoring will be done with CCTV whether the rules of physical distance are being followed. Apart from this, the security guidelines will be pasted at many places in each school and SDM and DM Kovid-19 security guidelines of each respective area will be implemented.
