Star badminton player Saina Nehwal joins BJP, may campaign in Delhi elections

After a great performance on the badminton court, now badminton star Saina Nehwal has entered politics. He joined the BJP today at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters in Delhi. In the presence of BJP National General Secretary Arun Sinha, BJP joined hands.

It is believed that Saina Nehwal will campaign in favor of BJP in Delhi Assembly elections.

Saina has achieved such achievements in badminton, which no Indian women player has done before her. Saina also won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Saina has been honored with the Padma Shri and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award by the Government of India. He is married to badminton player P Kashyap.

Haryana-born 29-year-old Saina Nehwal can act as a big face for BJP. Badminton star Saina Nehwal has 24 international titles in her name. In the year 2009, where Saina Nehwal has stayed at number two, in 2015, she has also worn the number crown.

Saina Nehwal joining the BJP just before the Delhi elections will be a big thing for the party. If sources are to be believed, Saina Nehwal can also be fielded by BJP for campaigning in Delhi elections. Actually, many players have joined BJP before this, including former cricketer Gautam Gambhir, Racral Babita Phogat etc.

Saina won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics. She won silver at the 2015 World Championship and bronze in 2017. He has three gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games. He has two bronze medals in the Asian Games and three bronze medals in the Asian Championship.

Yogeshwar-Babita lost in Haryana elections in sports politics

Apart from Yogeshwar and Babita, former Indian hockey team captain Sandeep Singh had contested the Haryana assembly elections last year on a BJP ticket. Babita and Yogeshwar lost, but Sandeep Singh won. He was sworn in as Minister of State and then given the post of Sports Minister.
