Saif Ali Khan’s Pataudi House has been a witness to magnificent history. He acquired the palace after the death of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. It was previously rented.
Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of real life, is the lucky artist of Bollywood, with whom his name is associated with the palace. Pataudi House is also known as Ibrahim Kothi. Pataudi House in Gurugram district of Haryana is identified as a shahana and luxurious interior. Paintings and art work on the walls adorn the palace. The lush green garden around the palace spreads a sample of its greenery.
It is spread over 10 acres, with 150 rooms, including seven dressing rooms, seven bedrooms, seven billiard rooms, luxurious drawing and dining rooms. The market value of the property is estimated to be around Rs 800 crore. Pataudi House was built on the lines of the colonial mansion of Delhi. It was designed by Robert Tor Russell around 1900. Austrian architect Karl Moltz von Heinz assisted in his work.

After getting the palace back, Saif rebuilt it accordingly. To change its design, he enlisted the help of interior designer Darshini Singh.
On the issue of the palace, Saif says, “When my father died, he was given a rent to the Nimrana Hotel. Aman and Francis used to run the hotel. After Francis’s death, Saif tried to take possession of the palace. Instead, a huge amount was demanded from them. ”
He further said that even though the palace has been inherited from him, the film has been recovered from the money. Now Saif, Kareena Kapoor Khan along with his son Taimur Ali Khan visit the palace every year. The family also celebrated Timur’s birthday in the palace garden. Pataudi House is very beautiful from inside and outside.
