Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. A police constable here has accused the woman of rape. According to the woman, the constable raped her by pretending to give ration. After the case came to light, a case was registered against the accused constable and he was arrested.

We spoke to Mrityunjaya related to ‘India Today’ for information about the case. He told that the matter is of Kharsi police post in Bilaspur. Constable Ajay Kumar posted here allegedly raped a female laborer on Friday 15 May. Ajay Kumar had said to give ration to the woman. He called her from outside the room and took her to the road. A car was standing there. And there was already a person on the driver’s seat.

The victim alleged in the police complaint that Ajay took her to his quarters at Ghumarwin. After raping him, he left and escaped. The woman said that she did not know the person sitting on the driver seat, as she has never been found before. Bilaspur DSP Sanjay Sharma has confirmed the case. He said that on the basis of the complaint of the woman, the accused constable has been arrested. It is being questioned. police is investigating the case.
