Nityaami Shirke confirms breakup with Shantanu Maheshwari: It’s a mutual decision

Shantanu Maheshwari and Nityaami Shirke are no longer in a relationship. The couple broke up early this year.

Nityaami Shirke and Shantanu Maheshwari have called it quits. The couple who was last seen shaking a leg in Nach Baliye 9, is no longer together. The couple had confirmed that they were dating just before the premiere of Nach Baliye 9. Many even suspected that they faked their relationship to be on the show. However, they later rubbished the rumours.

Nityaami confirmed the breakup to IndiaToday.in and said, “It’s a mutual decision. Shantanu knows about it. We are very good friends.”

According to reports, the couple parted ways in February this year. Nityaami and Shantanu met on the sets on ALTBalaji’s medical drama Medically Yours. The couple began dating in April and confirmed their relationship in July 2019, through an Instagram post. Nityaami and Shantanu were then seen on celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye. Their journey on the show wasn’t easy. Nityaami injured her knee during the very first week of the show. This didn’t stop the jodi from delivering amazing performances week after week.

Nityaami is currently in Melbourne with her parents. The actress took the Covid-19 repatriation flight arranged by the Australian government on April 28, to go to her parents. After reaching Australia, Nityaami was quarantined. The actress is now out of the quarantine facility and is enjoying her time at home.
