Big Breaking : Raigarh Chhattisgarh : Gas leak in Raigad’s paper mill after Visakhapatnam, 7 injured
Raipur. News of the gas leak is also coming from Chhattisgarh, just hours after the Visakhapatnam gas leak accident. It is being told that seven laborers were injured due to leakage of gas in the paper miles of Raigad. The condition of three of which is said to be critical. It is being told that this accident happened during cleaning the chlorine tank in the paper mill.
It is worth mentioning that about 10 people have died and more than 3000 people have been injured due to poisonous gas rituals from LG Polymer Industry located in RR Venkatapuram village of Visakhapatnam on Wednesday-Thursday.
Relief work is going on at the scene and the remaining people are being taken to the hospital. People complained of eye irritation and difficulty in breathing. Fire tenders and ambulances are present along with the police at the scene. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Ministry of Home Affairs and NDMA on the gas leak incident. He said that the situation is being monitored.

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has appealed to the people to cover the mouth and nose with wet masks or clothes. People are being alerted to security standards for public address system. The Indian Army team has arrived to assist the SDRF team with 2 ambulances with 50 breathing sets and portable air compressors. Former CM N Chandrababu Naidu has sought permission to visit the spot.
