Gaga brought the 37-year-old tech investor as her date as she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before watching Joe Biden and Kamala Harris get sworn in as president and vice president, respectively.
The insider said: ‘Gaga had a blast at the Inauguration and was in the best spirits. She’s very happy with Michael and feels grateful for his support.’
Despite the couple – who started dating in 2019 – being relatively private and have kept their relationship from the public eye, Polansky was happy to be there in support of his famous girlfriend.
The source explained: ‘He was content to hang in the background and blended in. To the few people Gaga encountered backstage inside the Capitol, she’d say, “This is my boyfriend.”‘
