McDonald’s has several types of hamburgers available to customers, and many of them are easy to distinguish. For example, the Big Mac has a secret sauce, while the classic only has ketchup and mustard. However, these are not the only differences between them, as there is one in particular that practically no one has noticed.

And that subtle difference in McDonald’s hamburgers is in the bread, since different types of buns are made for each of the hamburgers..

Higher-end burgers like the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, and Double Quarter Pounder put toast with sesame seeds on it.

On the other hand, the classic hamburger, the one with cheese and the double with cheese, have a simple toasted bread.

Also, in the case of sandwiches, there is the McChicken, which is served in a simple plan, while Filet-O-Fish is served in a steamed bun, as reported in Mashed.

On the other hand, remember that you can always ask the employees to change your bread, no matter what burger or sandwich you order.
