"Dulce did not want to participate, not because of her pregnancy." Maite Perroni denies Dulce María about RBD concert | The State

On December 26, the group RBD, which grew out of the popular Mexican soap opera ‘Rebel’, met for the first time in more than a decade to offer a virtual concert in which the only ones absent were Alfonso Herrera and Sweet Maria. Two months before the event, the actress and singer who gave life to the character of Roberta had performed a live in Instagram explaining that he would not be able to keep the appointment due to the imminent birth of his first daughter.

“Obviously I would love to be there physically”, he assured all his fans at the time, “But as you well know, I am extremely pregnant. Over there they can see my belly, which grows more every day ”.

However, his former partner Maite Perroni has now denied that this was the real reason why he was not part of the expected reunion that was followed by four hundred thousand spectators from dozens of countries.

“Dulce did not want to participate, not because of her pregnancy; he just didn’t want to be part of the group at this time “, has assured in an interview to the Mexican edition of the magazine Rolling stone to clarify that fans would not have been able to enjoy a reunion of the six original members although Anahi, Christian chavez, Christopher Uckermann and she had decided to wait and find another date.

“Those of us who were in the show would have been the same today or tomorrow. Those who were not there were personal decisions and it is understood. There is love and respect ”, he added to insist that he respects the decision of both Sweet like Alfonso, who knows that he is currently totally focused on his acting career.

The idea for the concert came to celebrate that the music from the six albums of RBD it is finally available on all music platforms, as he recalled Maite, who he hopes has helped put a smile on his fans’ faces.

“We never thought of touring, or business. We only had the intention of making a presentation, we wanted to share this in a moment of vulnerable situations ”.
