Man shot his family and then committed suicide in New York | The State

Bhupinder Singh killed his teenage daughter and mother-in-law, then shot his wife and himself in upstate New York.

Singh (57) shot his 14-year-old daughter Jasleen Kaur and mother-in-law Manjeet Kaur (55) around 9 p.m. Wednesday inside his home in Schodack, about 12 miles south of the capital Albany, announced the New York State Police.

Rashpal Kaur (40), identified by Times Union Like Singh’s wife, she was shot in the arm, but managed to escape the house alive. She was hospitalized in stable condition in Albany.

“There was blood everywhere”, Jim Lundstrom, a resident of the area, declared that he was the one who called the police after the attacker’s wife knocked on his door asking for help; but then the woman walked away.

Upon arrival, the police were able to follow the blood trail to Singh’s home, where they found the three bodies.
