David and Victoria Beckham declare 'thank god it's over' in look back over year

David and Victoria Beckham have posted video highlights from the past 12 months as they say goodbye to 2020.

The couple both shared separate retrospective looks at how their year panned out, highlighting some of the happy times they have had.

Despite it looking like they have had a fantastic time, Victoria joined much of the nation in sharing the sentiment “thank god it’s over”, in what seems a reference to the coronavirus pandemic that has changed so many people’s lives.

The 46-year-old fashion designer’s snippets include a PDA moment on the dancefloor with David, in which they hold each other tightly, and the photo used to announce her son Brooklyn Beckham’s engagement to Nicola Peltz.

Kisses xx vb”

David, 45, also shared some happy times from the past year in a video, with his meeting with Captain Tom as one of the big highlights.

He is seen with the centenarian after his mammoth fundraising efforts as well as videos of Becks with his sons Brooklyn and Romeo going for a run and time with Manchester United legend Bobby Charlton.

The Beckhams have had a lot to celebrate last year

With the Bee Gees ‘Too Much Heaven’ playing over his throwback selection, David captioned the post: “Sending all my love wherever you are in the world.

“It’s been a challenging year that has taught us so much, especially what’s most important. Here’s to a brighter 2021. Happy New Year ❤”️

With Brooklyn’s wedding with Nicola on the horizon in 2021, it would seem that the Beckhams have a lot to look forward to in the coming year.
