The FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Web App release date has been confirmed, and you’ll be able to access it before the full game is released.
The FUT Web App allows FIFA Ultimate Team players to buy and sell players on the transfer market, manage their club consumables, change tactics, complete Squad Building Challenges, claim FUT Champions and Division Rivals rewards, redeem FUT Champions Points, check Season Objective progress, share squads with your friends and much, much more.
It’s essentially the full web version of the FUT Companion App, which is a very popular mobile app that allows players to perform similar tasks for their Ultimate Team as outlined above.

And now EA have confirmed the release date of the FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Web App by posting a message to any players who log on to the current version of the FUT Web App for FIFA 20.
This tweet from @FUTWIZ shows the in-app message that players will receive when they log in to the current version of the Web App, which confirms the release date for the new FIFA 21 version of the Web App.
The message confirms that the FIFA 21 Web App will be released on Wednesday September 30, 2020. This also means that the FIFA 21 Companion App is likely to be available from Thursday October 1, 2020.
It also confirms that if you logged onto the Web App to manage your FIFA 20 Ultimate Team, you’ll be getting returning user rewards for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, and they’ll be waiting for you when you log on to the new version of the Web App for the very first time.
The new FUT Web App will be the first time most players get to explore the new FIFA 21 Ultimate Team game mode, and the first time most players will be able to get a glimpse of FIFA 21 for the first time too, with EA confirming on Tuesday evening that there will be no FIFA 21 demo this year.
The first time players will be able to access the release version of the FIFA 21 game will be through EA Play, with subscribers to this service able to access a 10-hour trial of the full game from October 1, 2020.
Ahead of the launch of FIFA 20 last year, the FUT Web App launched at 6pm UK time on Wednesday September 18, 2019 with the FUT Companion App launching a day later on Thursday September 19, 2019.
But due to FIFA 21’s release date being pushed back until October 9, the Web App and Companion App launch has been delayed this year.
FIFA 21 will be released in the UK and worldwide on October 9, 2020, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 slightly earlier than this.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC you’ll be able to play from October 6, 2020.
The FIFA 21 Standard Edition allows fans to play from the game’s official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020.
