Liverpool have four stars up for the main prize as the PFA Awards are finally held.

The accolades were due to be handed out on April 26 in Manchester but the coronavirus pandemic forced the awards ceremony to be cancelled.

The winners will now be named online as the awards are held virtually with Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson all up for the Player of the Year gong after helping Liverpool to their first Premier League title.

They face competition from Manchester City due Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, who lost out to Van Dijk last year.

Alexander-Arnold is front-runner for the Young Player of the Year prize having been nominated alongside Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, Chelsea pair Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount plus Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka.
