BREAKING NEWS: One dead, 5 injured in shooting at Chicago restaurant

  • Six people shot while dining at Lumes Pancake House in Chicago on Sunday 
  • One person was pronounced dead at the scene and five were rushed to hospital 
  • Three were listed in critical condition at Christ Hospital in Chicago
  • Two were listed in fair and good condition at Little Company of Mary 

At least one person was killed and five others wounded after they were shot while dining under an outdoor tent at a restaurant in the Morgan Park section of Chicago on Sunday.

There are reportedly several casualties following the shooting at Lumes Pancake House in the 11600 block of Western Avenue.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, Fox32 reports. The other five were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Three adults were listed in critical condition at Christ Hospital, WGN-TV reported.

Two other adults were listed in good and fair condition at Little Company of Mary. 

The Chicago Police Department says its detective are on the scene investigating. The CPD is urging anyone with information to submit an anonymous tip at CPDTip.com.
