The strength of Hindu voters in America, Trump and Biden engaged in wooing, know what are the promises being made

Donald Trump and Joe Biden’s campaigning in the US presidential election has been devoted to wooing small religious minority communities, and this has never been seen before. This indicates the growing political importance of Hindus in America. Hindus represented about one percent of America’s 2016 population.

Trump’s campaign of incumbent president and candidate from the Republican Party has promised to reduce the hurdles in the path of religious freedom for Hindus in America when he returns to the White House. On the other hand, the campaign of his rival and Democrat candidate Biden said on Tuesday that he (former Vice President Biden) has given priority to contact the Hindu community.

Trump’s campaign for the first time in the US presidential election on 14 August announced the formation of a ‘Hindu voice for Trump’. Two days later, Neelima Goneguntala, a prominent leader of the Hindu community, participated in inter-religious prayer to launch the Democratic National Conference. In this regard, Biden’s campaign said that this is another sign of increasing political importance of Hindus in America.

The details of Trump’s new coalition campaign to woo the Hindu-American community in America are expected to be announced at the Republican National Conference next week. Trump’s publicity campaign said, “Trump honors the contributions of millions of Americans to Hinduism.”

The campaign said, “There is no addition of inclusive economy, building of US-India relationship and strong support for the religious freedom of all.” Re-elected President Trump will reduce barriers to religious freedom for Hindus in the United States. “Biden was officially declared a candidate for the presidential election on Tuesday by the Democratic Party.

The political forum, South Asia for Biden, said, “Biden has given priority to outreach to the Hindu community.” Over the weekend, Biden’s campaign began as a platform for Indian-Americans, outlining many of the major concerns of the Hindu community.

Biden proposes to toughen penalties for hate-motivated crimes committed in places of worship, including temples. He has also promised to increase security grants for such shrines. He has also spoken of making hate-motivated crime a priority for his Justice Department.
