Vikas Dubey case: Rajendra made many important revelations, told how policemen were killed

Rajendra said that he and his son were involved in the attack on the police team on July 2. He had fired from the roof of his house with the son firing at the police. 8 policemen were killed in the attack. After the attack, he escaped by giving his pistol to Vikas Dubey. Rajendra told the police that he kept hiding at many places in Kanpur countryside and adjoining districts. During this time he did not go to any relative because he feared arrest.

Rajendra Kumar Mishra, who was arrested during the police interrogation, said that he had opened fire on the police with a pistol from his house while son Prabhat opened fire on the police with a semi-automatic pistol. He told that after the attack, Vikas Dubey told him to run away and took his pistol, so that Hathayar could not be recovered when caught.

On Saturday, Rajendra, a criminal who was involved in a biker racket, was arrested from Chaubepur in Kanpur. The Superintendent of Police (Rural) said that Rajendra Kumar Mishra of Bikeru village in Chaubepur was caught from the gate of Gangotri Royal Animal Feeding Factory on Shivrajpur Road. He wanted to surrender in court, was going to talk to an acquaintance. There was a reward of 50 thousand rupees on Rajendra. 

According to the police, Rajendra’s son Prabhat alias Karthikeya was also accused of the Bikeru scandal. He was arrested on July 2 from Faridabad in Haryana, a week after the biker. While bringing to Kanpur, Prabhat snatched a pistol from a policeman and opened fire on the STF team, after which he was killed by the police.
