Dhoni announced his retirement yesterday through an Instagram post on 15 August. He wrote in the post, ‘Thank you for your love and support so far. Think me retired from 07:29 in the evening.

39-year-old Dhoni has been the best captain of Team India. He will also be seen captaining the Chennai team in this IPL. The team is currently practicing in Chennai where the team will soon leave for the UAE. The IPL is happening in UAE from next month.
