A case of raping a married woman in a hotel has come to light on Facebook with the promise of friendship and marriage. The police have registered a case at Gurugram Sector-51 Mahila police station on the complaint of the victim’s woman and started investigation.
According to the information, a 35-year-old woman originally from Delhi told in her complaint to the police that in 2019, through Facebook, she had befriended Sohan Lal of Rajasthan. After friendship grew, both of them started talking on the phone for hours every day. The woman has accused the youth that in November 2019, the accused called her to Gurugram. After taking the pretext of marriage, he took her to Oyo Hotel and raped her several times, but now the accused refused to marry.
The victim said that the accused works in a government office in Rajasthan. In such a situation, the woman got upset and filed a case against him in the police.Â

Garima, the in-charge of the police station investigating the case, said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered and started investigation. The woman is already married and has a child. The accused has not been arrested yet.
