Jabalpur. In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, all the markets coming into the green zone are being opened on the basis of OD and EV formula. It starts with an odd number. Today, on the first day, the shops that have the numbers 1-3-5-7-9, will be opened and tomorrow the even number. In this order, shops will open one day in a day, in alternation.
The Collector sent a proposal for the Odd-Even formula to Bhopal. It was implemented as soon as it was approved. The markets of Jabalpur district were closed for 79 days due to the lockdown implemented to prevent infection of the corona virus. There is an exemption to open markets in 65 wards of the district on the lines of aud-even. While 14 wards are in the red zone, the markets will remain closed there. No economic activity will be allowed in these areas for the time being. Shops will remain open from 1 pm to 5 pm in the areas where the market is open from today. But from Saturday to Saturday, the shops will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
The new rules will have to be strictly followed in the shops that open in the Green Zone. There, along with sanitation, more than 5 customers will not be allowed to be present at one time. Along with shopkeepers, it will also be mandatory for customers to wear masks. Wherever these rules are not followed, the approval to open the market will be withdrawn. With this, if a corona-positive patient is found in an area, then the permission to open the market there will be deemed to be revoked as soon as a container zone is created in that area.
Banned in the guide line of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India and the Home Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, including haircutting salons and parlors, malls, theaters, gyms, pan-gutkha, cigarettes, shops in the green zone wards of the city under the Odd-Even formula Opening of all other activities will not be allowed.
With this, people kept in home quarantine will now have to follow the rules and instructions strictly. Collector Bharat Yadav, citing instructions of the government in this regard, said that if a person does not follow the rules of home quarantine, then for the first time he will be fined two thousand rupees. In case of violation for the second time, the person concerned will be sent to the institutional quarantine.

There are instructions to take action against those who violate the home quarantine. A total of 226 corona positive patients have been found so far in Jabalpur district. While 168 patients discharge and 9 have died.
