Married only last year, Bangladesh cricketer Litton Das’s wife injured in cylinder blast

Devasri Biswas Sanchita, the wife of Bangladesh’s finest wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das, has been badly injured in an accident. 25-year-old Lytton’s wife Devashree was making tea on Friday, during which a gas cylinder (Gas Cylinder Explosion) was blasted. She was badly injured in the accident. According to media reports, Devashree’s right hand and hair were burnt in the blast. Giving information about the accident, Devashree said, ‘I will not be able to easily forget this incident. I was very close to death. I went to the kitchen to make tea, as soon as I turned on the gas stove, there was a loud explosion. I saved my face from burning by using my right hand. The face survived, but in this effort, the hands are quite burnt. Luckily my life was saved.

Significantly, the 25-year-old Liton Das is counted among the talented batsmen of Bangladesh team. He has played 20 Tests, 36 ODIs and 29 T20 International cricket matches for the country so far. In ODIs, he has scored 1079 runs at an average of around 31, with three centuries and as many half-centuries. In the test, he has scored 859 at an average of 25.26 and 636 runs at an average of 22.71 in T20.

It is worth noting that last year, Litton Das got married only after World Cup 2019. At a time when the whole world is facing the challenge of Corona virus, Litton came out openly to help the people in his country. Litton is among 26 Bangladeshi players who donated half of their salary to help Corona affected. Not only this, through their efforts, Corona are also raising money to help the affected.
