PIB of Minority Commission asked- Media should present correct picture in Tablighi Jamaat case

new Delhi. The National Minorities Commission told the Public Information Unit (PIB), the public relations unit of the government, on Friday 24 April that it should not link the entire Muslim community with the Tablighi Jamaat case in the news. Along with this, the commission also said that PIB should ensure that the correct picture is presented in the media on the Tablighi Jamaat case.

In this case, a letter was written on behalf of Joint Secretary of National Minorities Commission Daniel Richards to KS Dhatwalia, the Director General of PIB. Richards has also said in the letter that the people of Tabligi Jamaat should take action from the administration, but it is wrong and unwanted to link this episode to Muslims and hold the entire Muslim community responsible.
