A unique marriage took place on Wednesday 6 May in Shirpur tehsil of Dhule district in Maharashtra. The marriage took place between 29-year-old Jhamru Rajendra Koli and 19-year-old Nayana. The special thing about this wedding was that while the groom’s height was 3 feet, the bride was also only 4 feet.

Jhamaru became a groom and studied till tenth, while bride Nayana was educated till twelfth. The marriage of both had already been decided, but due to the Corona crisis, the matter was not moving forward. Finally, in a simple wedding ceremony in the village itself, the wedding took place on Wednesday following social distancing. Relatives were also trying to come to this wedding, but could not come due to lockdown.
