Former Bandit Sardar Mohar Singh Gurjar passed away, who once had a reward of 2 lakhs on his head

Bhind Former Bandit Sardar Mohar Singh Gurjar has passed away. 92-year-old Mohar Singh breathed his last this morning. He was ill for a long time. There were 315 crimes in the police record against this bandit chieftain of the 60s. A reward of Rs 2 lakh was declared at the time of arrest. After leaving the world of crime, he was famous for helping the poor and getting married for poor girls.

Former Bandit Emperor Mohar Singh breathed his last at 9 o’clock this morning at the age of 92. There was a complete flood of rebels in Chambal in the fifties. In Chambal, a name emerged in the dreaded dacoits that left everyone else behind. This was the name of Mohar Singh.

The ravines of Chambal sheltered so many bandits. After Mansingh, Mohar Singh was the biggest name of Chambal Valley. Mohar Singh had more than one hundred and fifty bandits. In the Chambal Valley, his name was listed as E-1 i.e. enemy number one in the police files of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. 

Talking about the police record in Chambal, Mohar Singh, who started the crime in 1960, created so much terror that everyone was starting to panic. In the encounter, Mohar Singh’s companions used to easily dodge the police. His network was so large that he used to get news as soon as the police stepped in Chambal and Mohar Singh changed his strategy.

By the time Mohar Singh, who recorded the first crime in police records in 1958, took a gun from his shoulder, by that time, he had already been rewarded two lakh rupees in the official record and his gang had a reward of 12 lakh rupees. Mohar Singh had 315 cases in the police file and Mohar Singh was responsible for 85 assassinations, a long way from his crimes.
