He told that about 72 lakh people i.e. 18 lakh families will directly benefit from it. With this, he doubled the pension of widows, elderly and disabled.

Kejriwal said during this time that he would need security and resources to protect widows, elderly and disabled from this disease. In view of this, the government has decided to double the pension of 2.5 lakh widows, 5 lakh elderly and 1 lakh disabled. In addition, he told that for those who are homeless and living in night shelters, morning and evening food will be given in these shelters. However, he also said that one can eat food in these shelters.

Kejriwal appeals to stop the morning walk for a few days

Arvind Kejriwal said in a statement, “I appeal to all of you to stop your morning walk for some time and stay at home. We are not currently doing lockdown, but in future, if necessary.
