Badaun, UP / 63 sheep died under mysterious circumstances
Badaun In Malpur Tatara village of Badaun, 63 sheep were found dead. Hearing this news, all the villagers are shocked. All 63 sheep died on Tuesday-Wednesday night under mysterious circumstances.
No injury marks have been found on the dead sheep, so there is no possibility of any wild animal attacking them. A team of forest department personnel who reached the spot also denied the presence of any wild animal, as they had no clue in this regard. The bodies of the sheep have been sent for postmortem to find out the cause of death.
According to the police, Ganga Sahay and Satish of Kashipur village used to graze their sheep in the village for the last 6 months and they kept 125 sheep in a hut. Badaun’s Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Rajesh Kumar said, our team inspected the spot and also searched the area. We have not found footprints of any wild animal here. Apart from this, no injured sheep has also been found. We do not know the cause of these deaths and we are waiting for the post mortem report. Officials said that it could be a case of eating poison. An official said, the sheep may have eaten poisonous fruits or grass.
