Nepal creates world record by organizing fashion show at the highest position

Kathmandu Nepal has set a world record by organizing fashion show at the highest place. Nepal has got its name included in the Guinness World Record through this event. This fashion show was organized by RB Diamond and KASA Style with the help of Nepal Tourism Board. The Mount Everest Fashion Runway was organized on 26 January at Kalapathar, Everest’s base camp at an altitude of 5340 meters above the ground.

Nepal Tourism Board has launched a new campaign to increase tourism – Visit Nepal 2020. This fashion show was part of this campaign. Models from various countries including Finland, Italy, Sri Lanka and Singapore participated in this fashion show.

The main objective of organizing this fashion show is to spread awareness about climate change and sustainable fashion. This information has been given in a statement issued by Nepal Tourism Board on Wednesday. Official observers from the Guinness World Record were also present to witness the event.
