President of Brazil to reach India today, will be the chief guest of Republic Day celebrations

Brazilian President Jair Messius Bolsonaro is reaching India today on his four-day visit. He will take part in the Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest. This will be Bolsonaro’s first visit to India after taking over as Brazilian President.
He will arrive in Delhi with eight ministers, top officials and a large business delegation. During this time 15 agreements between India and Brazil will be signed. Let us know that at the 11th BRICS Summit, PM Modi invited Bolsonaro for the Republic Day celebrations, which he accepted.

India-Brazil multifaceted relations are expected to grow and strengthen during Bolsonaro’s visit. Bolsonaro will meet President Ramnath Kovind on Saturday. Apart from this, Bolsonaro will also meet Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.

Bolsonaro’s visit to India is expected to heat up relations between the two countries. Brazil’s Ambassador to India André Aranha Correa do Lago said, “The President is excited about the visit to India.” Their focus will be on strengthening mutual relations between the two countries in the energy, agriculture and defense sectors. We will initiate an action plan for a strategic partnership between the two countries. It will be launched by President Bolsonaro and Prime Minister Modi.
