The most expensive dance film / 11 songs of ‘Street Dancer 3D’ prepared at a cost of 5 crores, total budget of 85 crores

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film Street Dancer 3D is being claimed to be the most expensive dance film ever. It has 11 dance numbers and each costs 40 to 50 lakhs. In this way a total cost of 5 crores has been spent on a total of 11 songs. Its total budget in the trade corridors is estimated to be 80-85 crores. All its songs are choreographed by Rahul Shetty. Earlier, Rahul has choreographed the songs of ‘Race 3’, ‘ABCD’, ‘Housefull 4’.


Choreographer Rahul Shetty explains

Each song costs 40 to 50 lakhs in choreography. Among the climax songs of our film, the stage is quite huge and includes more than 100 junior dancers. The budget of such songs is only above 50 lakhs. These songs have been shot in India. Whatever songs were shot in London. They all have a high budget. In this way, these 11 songs were shot at a cost of 5 crores. We have shot songs in big clubs and cafes in London. We were there for a total of 40 to 50 days. The lavish sets that were made for climax songs were kept for 50 to 60 days in India. The cast and crew in London had 70 people. ‘

Rahul further states- This is basically a dance competition dedicated film, in which dancers from different countries compete with each other. In such a situation, in London, we also cast people from different countries living there. About 20 to 30 students were cast from Pakistan, who were learning dancing there. Cast of 20 to 25 people of American descent as well. Including Ireland, Switzerland and Korea, etc., hired students and professionals from six to seven countries who used to shoot for pocket money.

Hard rehearsal even after injury

Varun and Shraddha also practiced for about three months before the film started. During this time, he got hurt many times, but both of them did not stop their dance practice. During this both were busy in their different films. Let me tell you that while the lead starcast gave three months time for dance practice, the junior dancers took a total of nine months for rehearsal.

Dance studio became old London factory

Art director Tanvi told, “We designed an underground stage of 200 square feet in length, where the dancers were competing with each other.” Recycled bars with three colorful restaurants.
