Review & comparison : Hyundai Aura competes with Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, know who is best?

In the new year, Hyundai has launched the new sub-compact sedan car Aura in India in a competition of Honda Amaze and Maruti Dzire. Actually, AMAZE and DZIRE dominate this segment at the moment. However, the Ford Aspire is also in the fray in this segment.

In the current market, Maruti Dzire is the leader in the sub-compact sedan segment in the Indian market. Maruti Dzire was launched in 2019 and has sold over 20 lakh units so far. Maruti Dzire sold 1,98,904 units in 2019

However, Honda Amaze is also in demand due to the great look. But Dzire has a market share of around 60 per cent in the compact sedan segment. In the same way, the look and features of Hyundai Aura, in the coming days, it can give a tough competition to Desire and Amaze.

Engine- (Aura)

Hyundai Aura has launched in both petrol and diesel variants. This car has 1.2 liter diesel with BS-6 standard, one liter turbo petrol and 1.2 liter petrol engine options. Also there is CNG option. There will be 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options with 1.2-liter petrol and diesel engines. Only a 5-speed manual gearbox will be available with the 1-liter turbo petrol engine.

Engine- Maruti Dzire

At the same time, the Dzire comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is 1.2-liter, which generates 82 bhp power and 114 Nm peak torque. The diesel engine is 1.3-liter, which generates 74 bhp power and 190 Nm peak torque. 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options are available with both engines

Engine- (Honda Amaze)

The Honda Amaze also has two engine options. The Amaze offers a four-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates 90PS power and 110Nm pick torque. At the same time, its diesel variants get a four-cylinder 1.5-liter diesel engine, which generates 100PS and 200Nm pick torque. There is also an option of automatic CVT gearbox with 5 speed manual with both engines.

Hyundai Aura’s starting price (ex-showroom) is Rs 5,79,900, while the price of the top variant goes up to Rs 9.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The initial price of the Dzire is Rs 5.83 lakh, the top variant Dzire is priced at Rs 9,52,622. At the same time, Honda Amaze’s starting ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 5,93,000 to Rs 8,77,300.

Mileage

The Aura petrol variants are claimed to be 20.5 kmpl and diesel around 25 kmpl and CNG claims 28.40km / kg mileage.
At the same time, the petrol engine Dzire gives a mileage of 21.21 km per liter, while the diesel engine Dzire gives a mileage of 28.40 km per liter. At the same time, Honda Amaze gives mileage of 19 kilometers per liter with petrol, while about 27 kilometers per liter of diesel.

Size

The length of the aura is 3995mm, width 1680mm and height 1520mm. At the same time, its wheelbase is given 2450mm and bootspace 402 liters. The length of Maruti Suzuki Dzire is 3995 mm, width is 1735 mm. Its wheelbase is 2459 mm. At the same time, Honda Amaze has a length of 3,995mm, width 1,695mm, height 1,501mm and wheelbase 2,470mm. Maruti Dzire’s boot space is 378 liters, while Honda Amaze has 420 liters.
