Bale arrives at London Luton airport to complete Tottenham return

Gareth Bale has arrived in the UK to complete his loan move back to former club Tottenham Hotspur.
The Welshman will rejoin Spurs on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid after the clubs agreed to split his wages across the course of the season.
Bale arrived at London Luton airport on Friday afternoon along with his Real teammate Sergio Reguilon, who will also join Tottenham.
Fans gathered at the airport to get a glimpse of Bale, who was soon whisked away to the Spurs training ground to complete the formalities of his move.
Bale left Spurs for a Real Madrid in a then world record £86million move in the summer of 2013, and although his time in the Spanish capital was a successful one he did often have run-ins with manager Zinedine Zidane.
He won four Champions League trophies and two La Liga titles while at the club, but he often struggled for playing time in his latter seasons.
Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp says Bale would be a great addition to the club.
“It would be a fantastic signing for the club and it would be great for Gareth to get back playing again. He’s such a talent, such a great player and it’s waste to see him not playing,” Redknapp told BBC Radio Wales.

“To get back to Tottenham could just turn their season around. They’ve been quite average in the last six months or so. End of last season and obviously got beat on Sunday by Everton.
“They need that little bit of magic Gareth can bring. If he went there, he’d make a massive difference.”
