Phillip Schofield to ‘convert garage into new bachelor pad’ after coming out

Phillip Schofield will convert the garage at his £2.6million family home into a bachelor pad, it’s claimed.
The This Morning presenter is still living with his family and remains married to his wife of 27-years Stephanie Lowe after coming out as gay earlier this year.
And it looks like he has no plans to leave their plush Oxfordshire home as he’s apparently going to set himself up in a two-bedroom home within the grounds.
He will knock down one of the garages and build himself a new place with floor-to-ceiling windows, a sitting room and a posh new kitchen, The Sun reports.
There will also be a guest bedroom and an ensuite bathroom, it’s reported.
A source told the site: “Phillip and Steph are getting on really well and are in no rush to make any big decisions.
“This annex can be used by any member of the family at any time — and is a great investment long-term, adding value to the property.”
Mirror Online has contacted Phillip’s reps for comment.
It comes after Phil denied claims that he has moved out of the family home and into his own flat in London.
Phil and Stephanie have been married for almost three decades.
They share two daughters, Molly, 27, and Ruby, 24.
He came out as a gay in an interview with his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby back in February.
Phil said at the time: “You never know what’s going on in someone’s seemingly perfect life.
“So you won’t know what has been consuming me for the last few years.”
