Jadon Sancho speaks out on Man Utd transfer speculation and £100m price tag

Jadon Sancho admits he has no issues with transfer speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United but just “focuses on his football”.
The Borussia Dortmund star has long been a target for the Premier League outfit and they have pursued him this summer.
But a move hangs in the balance after United’s negotiations went beyond the deadline set by the German outfit.
Sancho has since been involved in Dortmund’s pre-season preparations yet rumours of a move refuse to go away.
But the England international has no issue with the speculation and accepts it comes with the territory.
“No, the media’s the media,” he told Sport Bible when asked if he’s bothered by the rumour mill.
“They’re always going to try and create a story, but this is how you manage it.
“For me, I just focus on my football. I just want to do what’s best for my team and win titles at the end of the day.”
United have taken issue with Dortmund’s £100m price tag as clubs manage their finances following a challenging year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
And while Sancho is flattered by his value he tries to keep his head down.
He continued: “I guess it’s a nice feeling to be worth so much, but again, I don’t really look at it that much.
“For me, it’s about doing well for my team and doing well for myself as well.
“When I have a sh*t game I’m just down. I feel sh*t about myself. So I always like having a good game and showing people what I can do.
“I know what I can do, and if I play bad then I’m just p*ssed off with myself. Next game I’ll try and improve on whatever I’ve done wrong.”
