Won’t attend Congress legislative meet, Ashok Gehlot govt in minority: Sachin Pilot
In an exclusive conversation with Aaj Tak and India Today, Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot said he will not be attending the legislative meet called by CM Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur on Monday.
Rajasthan Political crisis
The ongoing conflict between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has now come to the fore. Sachin Palayat has adopted a rebellious attitude. He has said that he will not attend the Congress Legislature Party meeting. The Legislature Party is to meet at 10.30 am on Monday.
Sachin Pilot is not coming to Jaipur. He has not even met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. On behalf of the pilot camp, it is being claimed that the Gehlot government has come to a minority. Pilot said that many independent MLAs are with us. It is being told that 27 MLAs including Sachin Pilot are in touch with BJP.

Here, the Gehlot camp has claimed the support of more than 100 MLAs. At the same time, it is being told from the BJP that he is not in touch with Sachin Pilot. This is an internal matter of the Congress.
Earlier, Sachin Pilot’s friends Danish Abrar, Chetan Doody and Rohit Bohra reached the Chief Minister’s residence. In the press conference held here, the three MLAs had said that we have faith in Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. We went to Delhi from our personal work.
All three said that we have not had any interaction with Sachin Pilot in the last two days. It is considered a major success of Ashok Gehlot as all three MLAs are friends of Sachin Pilot.
Why are pilots angry
Let me tell you that there is resentment in the camp for sending notice of Deputy CM Sachin Pilot on behalf of Special Operation Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police in the purchase case of MLAs. However, CM Gehlot gave clarification regarding this issue.
The CM had tweeted and said, “In the context of the Congress legislature party complaining of horse-trading by BJP leaders to SOG, notices have been given to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Chief Whip, some other ministers and MLAs for making general statements. It is not appropriate to present it differently by some media.
