Let me tell you that on June 15, there was a violent clash with China on the LAC i.e. Line of Actual Control of Indian soldiers. 20 soldiers were martyred in this clash. Colonel Santosh Babu was the Commanding Officer of 16 Bihar Regiment.
Colonel Santosh himself was also a resident of Suryakot in Telangana. The Telangana government not only gave his wife a job as deputy collector but also gave Rs five crore as compensation to his family. With this, the state government has decided to give 600 yards of land to the family of martyr Santosh.
