wife of martyr Colonel Santosh Babu becomes deputy collector, CM Chandrashekhar Rao to give 5 crore as compensation

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced this and made Colonel Santosh’s wife deputy collector of Suryapet district.

In the recent violent clash with China in the Galvan Valley, 20 soldiers of the country were martyred. The biggest question is the responsibility of his family after the martyrdom of the soldiers who consider the defense of the border as their priority, while paying the debt of mother Bharati. Colonel Santosh Babu was one of the soldiers who were martyred in the Galvan Valley. Now after his martyrdom, his wife has been appointed as deputy collector by the Telangana government.

This decision of the Telangana government is quite commendable because the martyr Santosh who performed his duty for the country was also responsible to his family and the government.

Let me tell you that on June 15, there was a violent clash with China on the LAC i.e. Line of Actual Control of Indian soldiers. 20 soldiers were martyred in this clash. Colonel Santosh Babu was the Commanding Officer of 16 Bihar Regiment.

Colonel Santosh himself was also a resident of Suryakot in Telangana. The Telangana government not only gave his wife a job as deputy collector but also gave Rs five crore as compensation to his family. With this, the state government has decided to give 600 yards of land to the family of martyr Santosh.
