The Delhi Police has arrested two constables of the Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) – Pradeep and Premchand, in the case of gang rape from a minor. Both constables are alleged to have committed a rape incident with a minor girl during the lockdown.
In fact, a 16-year-old girl has told the police in her statement that she is a resident of Jharkhand and has been working for 9 years as a med in Preet Vihar, Delhi. For a long time she wanted to go home, but due to the lockdown, the train was closed, so she could not go to her village.
The girl reached Anand Vihar railway station on 12 June without taking her luggage from her house without telling her landlord. But upon reaching there, the girl came to know that the train is not running from Anand Vihar.
According to the police, the girl later reached the New Delhi railway station, where she began to find out about the train. Then the accused constable reached there and said that he can get him a train from his village Ranchi.
The accused constable called another constable. Both constables arrived in a room with the girl. There, the girl was fed a intoxicating substance in a cold drink. After which one constable raped her while the other constable helped to bring the incident to a stand at the gate.
