Jio gets third investor, Vista to invest Rs 11,367 crore
Mumbai. Jio has got the third high profile investor in three weeks. Vista will invest Rs 11,367 crore for a 2.32 percent stake in Jio Platforms. This investment by Vista Equity Partners is the third major investment in Jio platforms within the last three weeks. The equity value of Jio platforms is estimated at Rs 4.91 lakh crore and enterprise value of Rs 5.16 lakh crore.
Vista Equity Partners has become the largest investor after Reliance and Facebook with this investment in Jio platforms. Jio Platforms has raised 60,596.37 crore from leading technology investors.
Vista’s investment is at a 12.5 percent premium to the Facebook investment in April. Earlier this week, Silver Lake was invested in Jio. That investment was also at a premium from the Facebook deal.
