Miss Universe From Thailand, India’s Divita Rai Misses Out
Ms Sueangam-iam received her trophy at the Beauty Pageant in New Orleans wearing her recycled gown made from pull-tabs of drink cans.
Thailand’s Anna Sueangam-iam, daughter of a garbage collector and a sweeper, was crowned the Miss Universe this morning while India’s Divita Rai missed out on the beauty pageant.
Ms Sueangam-iam received her trophy at the Beauty Pageant in New Orleans wearing her recycled gown made from pull-tabs of drink cans, a tribute to her father.
Ms Rai had won the Miss Diva Universe pageant last year and finished third in 2021.
India’s Harnaaz Sandhu had won the previous edition of Miss Universe.
