Trains are closed at stations, airplanes at airports, buses at their end. Shops are closed without buyers. In the midst of all this, there is a bright side of the corona, which shows the light of hope, lessons and the fragrance of change. He is an observer of nature. In which the face of the lockdown is clearly visible. The air is clearer than ever, the dirt is seen disappearing from the banks of rivers. There is not unnecessary crowd on the roads. The cities are looking green. Now look at Delhi, it seems as if the heart is the same, the heartbeat has just increased. Look at Banaras, it seems the juice is the same, just the attitude is new.

Delhi looks cloudy and bright
- Connaught Place-
Both photos are of Connaught Place area of Delhi. The place is the same, the difference is only in time. The first photo is from 8 November 2018. The second photo is from 8 April 2020. The effect of lockdown is clearly visible in it. Due to the lockdown, the pollution level in Delhi has reduced significantly in the first 21 days.
- India Gate
Both photos are in front of India Gate. The first picture is of 24 March this year, the day the lockdown began in the country. The second picture is from 2 April i.e. 10 days later. In the pictures, a bike rider is passing in front of India Gate. The atmosphere is much clearer in the second picture than in the first picture.
- President’s House

- Yamuna bank
In both the pictures, the banks of the river Yamuna are seen in Delhi. The first picture is from a year ago i.e. 21 March 2018. The second photo is from this 8th of April. Both have boats on the banks of the river, the place is also one. The only difference is time. It is clear how much water of Yamuna has become cleaner than before. Dirt is also missing.
- Plains of Delhi
Both pictures are from Delhi. The first photo is from 30 March 2019. When birds are chirping between the high bolt wires of electricity and there is mist in the sky. The second photo is from this 13 April. In this picture, the sky is clearly visible between the same high voltage wires. There is no pollution like before. It seems as if the intentions of the sky are also clear now.
Banaras
- Manikarnika Ghat is quiet
Both photos are of the Manikarnika Ghat along the Ganges in Banaras. The dead bodies are cremated here. This is the largest ghat in the country. The first photo is from 10 May 2015. The second photo is from this 10th of April. It is very crowded on normal days. A large number of dead bodies are being cremated. Earlier 200 to 300 dead bodies were from outside Banaras. But these days only two-four bodies are coming from outside.

- Ganga aarti without devotees
Both photos are from the Dashwashmedh Ghat in Banaras. The first photo is from 3 May 2019. The second photo is from 9 April 2020. There is a grand Ganga Aarti daily. In the first picture it is clearly seen how much the crowd used to be during the Ganga Aarti. The priests who performed the aarti were also more. But now only 10-15 people are coming here due to the lockdown. The priests performing the aarti are also coming one or two.
Life came out of the haze in 13 days
- Dayaram of Madhya Pradesh
Both photographs have Dayaram Kushwaha and his five-year-old son Shivam. The first picture is of this 26 March, when Dayaram was returning the child from Delhi to his village Jugayai (Madhya Pradesh) after the lockdown. They were neither getting vehicles, nor food. The second picture is of April 8, when Dayaram is returning home after working from a farm in his village. In just 13 days, Dayaram’s life came out of the mist and gloom of Delhi. This is also reflected in the picture.
